Her reasoning is that gravity is not going anywhere. You can sit on a couch or you can have a life, and if you have a life you will eventually go down. So Challenge Center teaches seniors to tuck, roll, and land on what she calls their squishy bits, and to keep their arms in, because arms thrown out to stop a fall are how women break wrists and how elbows give way and faces hit the ground.     They joined a village built so people could help each other, and then nobody called. No rides. No favors. The phones just didn't ring.
