quiet reset is a short podcast by rochel forte about seeing Jesus in the ordinary: motherhood, marriage, conversations, decisions, and the moments that are harder to name. not everything is loud. not everything is obvious. but that doesn't mean nothing is happening. i'm not here as someone who has it all figured out. just someone paying attention to what God is showing me, even in the things i don't understand right away. and underneath every episode is one question: Lord, what are You showing me? sit with me for a little while.

    Jesus said, "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." for a long time, i read that and thought about money. lately, it's been asking me something else: what have i been treasuring? this episode is about the approval of other people, and how much space it had taken up in my heart without me noticing. not a lesson, and not an answer. just an honest look at what i've been holding.     i know i've been quiet. really quiet. for a while, i stopped posting. i wasn't sure quiet reset was supposed to keep going, or what it was supposed to become. then a friend told me she still listens, and it made me pause. this is the story of that quiet, and what i think God has been showing me through it. quiet reset isn't a place where i come with all the answers. it's a place where i sit with something from Scripture, bring it into ordinary life, and ask: Lord, what are You showing me? sit with me for a little while.
