Ep. 22 Elicia Santa Maria | Breathwork, Healing & Honoring Life After Loss

In this episode of Intuitive AF², I sit down with Elicia Santa Maria for a conversation about the many chapters of her life that ultimately brought her deeper into her body, her intuition, and the work she does today. Elicia shares what it was like growing up as a highly sensitive child with a mother who was Reiki certified, while also being given room to experience both religion and spirituality without feeling like she had to choose one box. We talk about how those early experiences shaped the way she understood energy and intuition, even before she necessarily had words for any of it. Her path has taken some beautiful turns. From childhood and college, to time spent in Hawaii, to more than a decade working in Special Education, and eventually becoming a Conscious Connected Breathwork facilitator and Aerial Hammock teacher, Elicia’s story is very much one of learning to come home to her own body. Breathwork became part of that journey, helping her better understand her nervous system, her sensitivity, and the connection between embodiment and intuition. But some of her deepest lessons came through love, caregiving, grief, and loss. Elicia opens up about meeting her late husband, his colon cancer diagnosis, and the experience of walking beside him as his caregiver. We talk about what that journey taught her, not only about honoring someone after they die, but about honoring the life, love, fear, beauty, grief, and humanity that exist in the journey toward death itself. And from there, our conversation moves into something we all experience in different ways: the smaller death and rebirth cycles that happen throughout our lives. Relationships change. Identities fall away. Careers shift. Old versions of us no longer fit. Dreams change shape. Sometimes what feels like an ending is actually creating the space for something new to be born. This conversation is about learning how to breathe through those thresholds instead of immediately trying to escape them. Want to learn more about Elicia? Ep. 20 Brandy Leadborn, Founder of H.A.P.I. Community and Family Constellation Facilitator

I met Brandy Leadborn through a Facebook group for entrepreneurs. She reached out about joining me on the podcast, and what began as a simple introduction turned into one of those conversations that could have gone in a hundred different directions. Brandy shares parts of her journey, including beginning her study of Buddhism in her twenties, navigating motherhood through seasons when stability and certainty weren’t guaranteed, and continuing to believe in herself, in love, and in the possibility of creating a different life. We talk about what we carry from our families, the ways survival can shape us, finding love again, spiritual practice, intuition, healing, and what it means to stop abandoning yourself simply because life hasn’t unfolded the way you expected. Today, Brandy is an Intuitive Mentor, Family Constellation Facilitator, and the founder of H.A.P.I. Community, a professional space where Healing Arts Professionals can connect, collaborate, and grow. Her work helps people explore inherited patterns, release emotional weight that may not belong to them, and reconnect with their own inner knowing. This isn’t a perfectly packaged before-and-after story. It’s an honest conversation about resilience, relationships, family systems, healing work, business, and stepping into a new season without pretending the earlier chapters never happened. Ep. 17 WAPSF: The Recipe for Co-Creation

The five pillars of co-creation, trusting your intuition, and choosing a path outside the Matrix. In this solo episode, I’m breaking down WAPSF: Will, Action, Patience, Self-Love, and Faith, the five pillars I use to understand co-creation. I prefer the word co-creation over manifestation because life isn’t a transaction with the Universe. We aren’t simply asking for something, waiting for it to appear, and assuming we did something wrong when life gets hard. We’re participating in what we create through our choices, energy, actions, mindset, intuition, and willingness to trust what comes next. I share my own decision to live apart together with my husband as a real-life example of what it can look like to follow an intuitive path that doesn’t fit the usual Matrix rules. My path isn’t meant to be anyone else’s answer. It’s simply an example of what can happen when we stop forcing ourselves into choices that don’t fit and start listening for what’s actually true. If you’re sorting through signs, breadcrumbs, feelings, or a decision you can’t quite make sense of, this episode is for you. If you’re trying to make sense of the signs, breadcrumbs, feelings, or repeated messages showing up in your life, I offer both in-person and virtual sessions to help you slow it all down and hear yourself more clearly. Together, we can explore what your body, energy, and intuition may be communicating so you can move forward with more clarity and trust.
