    E6. Creating In the Messy

    Can I be honest with you for a second? Life is messy. And if you are a creative mama trying to hold it all together right now — the dishes, the deadlines, the relationships, the creative dreams sitting in the corner waiting on you — I want you to know that I see you. And this episode is for you. Today I am sitting with you in the honest reality of what it looks like to stay on your creative journey when life around you feels anything but clean or quiet. Because here is what I need you to hear — the mess is not a sign that you are doing it wrong. Sometimes it is the very place where the most beautiful things are born. We are spending time in Isaiah 40:27-31 together — and if you have ever felt like God has forgotten about you and your creative life in the middle of all of this, this passage is going to meet you right where you are. I'm talking honestly about why naming life as it actually is matters, before we ever get to rest or creativity. We can't skip past the real to get to the good stuff — they're connected. I spend some time reflecting on Psalm 139 — what it means to be fully known, fully seen, and fully loved by God exactly as we are, distractions and all. There's no version of you that you have to hide or fix before showing up. I also share a little about where this podcast is headed — moving through a clear rhythm of getting real, finding rest, and creating with joy, so every episode feels like part of one connected journey instead of a stand-alone moment. It is a short verse but it carries something profound for the burned out creative mama who has been carrying everything on her own for far too long. We were never meant to hold it all.
