Fuel the Fire Episode 9: Clint Gilbertson

In this episode, guest host Rick Jorgenson sits down with 2025 Instructor of the Year, Clinton Gilbertson, to talk about his journey into the fire service, education, and training. Clint shares his experiences with leadership, mentorship, and the importance of continually learning and preparing firefighters both physically and mentally. They also discuss the new Fire Science program at NDSCS, Southeast Regional Fire Conference, mental health, EMS skills, and the role instructors play in developing the next generation of firefighters. A great conversation about training, leadership, and what it means to be ready for the job.
