They want a routine, a formula, something that works. But a prayer life that actually forms you looks different from that. This video walks through what I personally do, why I do it, and what I think every man needs to understand before he builds anything else on top.The sacraments come first. Not as a religious formality, but because that is where grace actually flows. The Eucharist and Confession are not optional add-ons to a spiritual life. They are the structure everything else hangs on. If your prayer life is built around anything other than those two, it is going to keep falling short.From there, the daily practice.     Most men are losing the interior battle before the day even begins. Not because they lack discipline. Not because they don't care.     Plato's Solution to the Masculinity Crisis

    Plato split men into three classes. Bronze, silver, and gold. Most men are chasing silver. Strength, success, status. And there's nothing wrong with any of that. But if that's where it ends, you get tyrants, not kings.The philosopher king is the integration of all three. A man who has mastered the exterior but understands that mastery flows from the interior. A man who has seen the good and is fixed on it, which means the world stops having the kind of grip on him it has over everyone else.
