It’s about understanding the damage, taking responsibility for it, and becoming intentional about repairing what we’ve broken—without pretending willpower alone is enough.     Dysregulation Is Chemical: Regulation is Intentional

    This episode dives into the reason why the decision to stop is so hard, even when we know better. Our nervous system fights us every step of the way. It doesn't mean we're diseased. It doesn't mean we can't stop. It just makes it hard because our brain is literally working against us. It shows up in different ways for each substance. The common struggle is our chemistry. If we can understand what it is, we might not be so afraid. After we stop, the damage shows up in so many ways. We can regulate with intention and information.

It's the first step towards really, truly getting to know ourselves and proving that we have the power to override our patterns.
