Our most essential, non-negotiable needs that feed us so that we may show up to the table with our innate gifts that nourish the world around us. “Ceres is the part of each and every one of us that is capable of very, very deeply caring and nurturing something outside of ourselves. It also shows us our most prominent needs; it holds the archetype of the mother; and it can quite literally stand for our mothers and maternal line,” Alexandra says. “By looking at Ceres in a chart, we can really see what a person has to give and whom they want to give it to, or what purpose they want to give it for,” Alexandra says. “Ceres can show us what we really need and what is non-negotiable for us so that we feel loved and appreciated.” “Looking at where Ceres is really helps you understand yourself on a deeper level,” Auburn says. “It can frame the resistances that you’ve met with other people, the moments of friction you’ve had when you’re fighting for your needs, holding your boundaries, or maybe even questioning yourself, ‘Why is this so important to me? Why can I just not be okay unless this is fulfilled?’ I think it’s tied to where Ceres is lighting up your chart.” “If you know that those requirements must be met, then you can orient to life in a way that no longer puts you in those compromising circumstances,” Auburn says.
