    Gifting Resilience

About This Episode In this week’s episode you get a peek into me reconnecting with a friend with whom I was once very close, Jen. Jen Novack calls Philadelphia home. After navigating her own path through physical illnesses, mental health challenges, and emotional rebuilding, she’s become passionate about how we heal and how we keep going. She brings a creative, honest voice to conversations about resilience, recovery, and finding beauty after breaking. Jen believes resilience isn’t about bouncing back. It’s about learning to move forward with what’s left. I want to share now that there is some conversation around Jen’s mental health and a time when she contemplated ending her life.  Episode Highlights [06:44] Jen’s personal reflections on mental health and overcoming a period of suicidal crisis (contains discussion of suicidal ideation). For me,  migraines have been a part of my cycle and as I’m well into the throws of perimenopause (the late part), I have been glad to say goodbye to them. If one was going to pop up, I’m glad it happened while I’m focused on nurturing myself. This has made it easier to navigate. ⚠️ Disclaimer: I'm not a therapist, coach, or mental health professional. Sneak Peek Emails - https://love-those-vibes-llc.subbly.me get a heads up on new episodes and a tool that goes with the weekly episode topic; drop your email address in the pop up box A Note from Grace Heading into this quest, I wasn’t sure what I would choose first. I had some ideas but on day 1 my morning routine had a change which meant that I was the only one in the house awake for about an hour before I would have to leave for work. That meant no navigating shower time or climbing over each other while making breakfast and I was way ahead of schedule…so I started with a mediation and that felt great.  ⚠️ Disclaimer: I'm not a therapist, coach, or mental health professional. Comfort Zone Challenges CAN Happen Organically!

About This Episode In this episode I bring some real talk about my fear of community and connection, and share how this comfort zone challenge created itself without me even realizing at first. But, it may be working sooner than I thought. I recently stepped way out of my comfort zone by reconnecting with an old friend. That sounds nice, lunch or coffee right? But after the loss of community and friendships in my life it was no easy feat. Grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me while I share the details. ⚠️ Disclaimer: I'm not a therapist, coach, or mental health professional.
