    Dylan and Matt welcome Brian Wecht aka “Trey Magnifique” (NEW ALBUM Bebop Cowboy Out NOW) aka "Ninja Brian" of Ninja Sex Party, also of Starbomb, co-host of Leighton Night with Brian Wecht and a former theoretical physicist with over 30 published papers. Believe it or not, they actually touch on most of that in just one episode. We begin with an unnamed game only Brian could play. In an attempt to merge his passions for both music and science, today’s guest is given popular song lyrics of questionable scientific merit and asked, science fact or fiction? (Incidentally a much cleaner name for the game had our hosts only thought of it before recording.) Could Mars actually support a colony (Rocket Man)? Can you really see Kilimanjaro from the Serengeti (Toto’s Africa)? And, of course, the math behind Owl City's "Fireflies.” Is a 1,000-hugs-from-10,000-lightning-bugs ratio a win or a brutal self-own?     Matt & Dylan | Are Barely Watching The Parent Trap

    It’s the 10th episode spectacular! Sort of. It’s also a celebration of one of their top 4 favorite seasons. And they’re kind of watching Lindsey Lohan’s 1998 debut feature film. Theres a lot going on, but it all makes sense. Barely. To close out the summer, they’ll trade memories, share traditions and soft-launch a new movie centric watch along segment. In a fitting ode to all things summer, they’re barely paying attention to The Parent Trap. While classic 90s twin based hijinks play out in the background, the gang plays "Real or Not Real" a game Dylan accidentally made up by fact-checking the movie's summer-camp logistics. The isolation cabin, real or not real? The impossibly elaborate pranks, real or not real? Giant bowl of communal strawberries? You get it.     Our guest is Susan Eisenberg, the actor behind more than 20 years of iconic performances as the world's beloved voice of Wonder Woman, plus Avatar: The Last Airbender, Masters of the Universe, Jedi master Shaak Ti in "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" and dozens more. While Matt never imagined he’d ever meet Wonder Woman, Dylan and Susan actually go way back, so between the two of them “barely know” still applies. The gang debuts the hastily titled “Susan's Game” where they show Susan photos of World's Ugliest Dog contestants and dogs in assorted costumes, and ask her to figure out what each one would sound like. It goes about as well as you'd expect from a woman who has spent two decades finding character voices for a living. OK, and what if there was another tournament, and that one was about cups? Writer and Director Mary May jumps right in as a guest who, by her own admission, doesn't know much about soccer but loves a good cup, as giants from the world of cups gather for a 16 round winner takes all showdown of the century culminating in an epic shocker of a final between practicality and whimsy. The matchups start off exactly as you’d expect, the classics, cup of coffee vs cuppah tea, peanut butter cup vs cupcake, but as the tournament continues, the action devolves into abject chaos. Will Princess Buttercup from The Princess Bride have to answer to a $4 Egg Cup from QVC? What even is an Egg Cup? Anything can happen in the World O’ Cups! This week Dylan and Matt discuss the food they look forward to when they venture east, the TV shows that remind them of home, and diners. Is Denny's a diner? Why are LA diners different? These are the questions that matter. Then, Spencer Watson, Actor, Writer, EMT, and scuba diving aspiring pilot joins the gang to play "Final Stunt Game." Based on Spencer's love of Mr. Cruise, he must identify whether described film stunts belong to Tom, someone else entirely, or were completely made up. Before appearing on our show Spencer was just recently in Paul Greengrass's Academy Award nominated Apple TV+ film The Lost Bus along side Matthew McConaughey and America Ferrera. Their first guest is Pat Cassels, College Humor veteran, Emmy winner, and a man with very specific feelings about condiments. Somehow the three of them are more connected than anyone realized, and that's before the conversation takes off into movie theater etiquette, the devastatingly sad series finale of the 90s sitcom Dinosaurs, and a frozen Gene Simmons at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Play along for the debut of the VHS Slipcase Game. Pat gets ambushed with a pillowcase full of tapes and has to identify films from cover descriptions alone.
