Meet the Girls | Nancy — The Bridge to Hope

Nancy’s story is one of resilience, courage, and purpose. Born in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nancy experienced the realities of war before eventually finding refuge in Kenya. Her own journey as a refugee shaped her understanding of what it means to start again, rebuild your life, and find hope in a new place. Today, Nancy has turned that experience into a purpose: helping other girls find their own second chance. Working closely with the Imani Program, Nancy visits refugee camps and communities to identify girls who could benefit from the program. But her role goes far beyond connecting girls to an opportunity. She helps guide and support them as they navigate education, skills development, confidence, and life beyond the camp. In this episode of Meet the Girls, Nancy shares her journey from surviving conflict in the DRC to building a new life in Kenya, and how her experiences now fuel her commitment to helping young girls become confident, independent, and contributing members of society. One woman's journey of survival became a mission to help other girls find a future.🔗 Learn more: www.imaniProgram.orgContactiwepusa@imaniprogram.org📱 Follow us:Facebook & Instagram: Imani ProgramInstagram: Imani Women Empowerment ProgramSubscribe, share, and be part of a movement that is transforming lives—one story at a time.#ImaniProgram #WomenEmpowerment #KenyanWomen #PodcastKE #AfricanWomen #WomenInLeadership #EmpowerHer #StoriesThatMatter
