Guns N’ Roses’ Epic Trilogy: Don’t Cry, November Rain & Estranged

What do a dead bride, a man diving through a wedding cake, Slash teleporting into the desert, an oil tanker, and a bunch of dolphins have in common? Somehow… Guns N’ Roses. In this episode of Redhead Gothcast, Jaden dives deep into “Don’t Cry,” “November Rain,” and “Estranged”, three of Guns N’ Roses’ most ambitious power ballads and the massive cinematic music videos that turned them into an unofficial trilogy. We’re breaking down the real stories behind the songs, Axl Rose’s inspirations, Slash’s unforgettable guitar solos, the two versions of “Don’t Cry,” the mystery behind the bride’s death in “November Rain,” the infamous wedding cake dive, the meaning of the dolphins in “Estranged,” and how the three songs form an emotional journey from fear of losing someone… to losing them… to learning how to live without them. And for Jaden, this episode is personal: she’s been a lifelong Guns N’ Roses fan, and her middle name, Rose, was literally inspired by Axl Rose. So grab your headphones and prepare for heartbreak, rock history, music-video insanity, and approximately thirty-five minutes of analyzing Axl Rose’s emotional trauma. Because relationships are temporary. Heartbreak is inevitable. Slash is forever.

Asking Alexandria’s Most Underrated Album? | From Death to Destiny...13 Years Later

Thirteen years later, Asking Alexandria’s From Death to Destiny hits a hell of a lot differently. Released in 2013 after Stand Up and Scream and Reckless & Relentless, the album marked a major turning point for Asking Alexandria and Danny Worsnop and became one of the most debated records of their classic metalcore era. In Episode 9 of Redhead Gothcast, I’m going back to 2013 to talk “Killing You,” “White Line Fever,” “Moving On,” “The Road,” and my favorite track, “The Death of Me” including the addiction symbolism hidden throughout its music video. I was 14 when this album came out. At 14, I knew the lyrics. At 27, I finally understand them. I didn’t outgrow this album. I grew into it. So, Asking Alexandria fans: you can save ONE...Stand Up and Scream, Reckless & Relentless, or From Death to Destiny. Which one are you keeping? 💀

American Psycho Explained: Why Everyone Gets Patrick Bateman Wrong

Patrick Bateman has become a meme. A "Sigma Male." A skincare icon. But I think almost everyone completely misunderstood American Psycho. In this episode of Redhead Gothcast, I break down the psychology, satire, symbolism, unforgettable soundtrack, Christian Bale's iconic performance, the ending that still sparks debate more than twenty-five years later, and the behind-the-scenes stories that almost gave us a completely different Patrick Bateman. We'll dive into the business-card scene, Dorsia, Huey Lewis and the News, "murders and executions," Ice Nine Kills' tribute to the film, and why American Psycho remains one of the smartest and most misunderstood horror movies ever made. Whether you're watching it for the first time or the fiftieth, I think you'll walk away seeing Patrick Bateman in a completely different light.

I Flew to Ireland for The Cure With 3 Weeks’ Notice...

Three weeks. One plane ticket. My first trip overseas. And absolutely no idea what I was getting myself into. What started as one impulsive decision to see The Cure in Dublin somehow turned into one of the most unforgettable weekends of my life. There was sleep deprivation. Culture shock. Complete strangers who became part of the story. Questionable decision-making. A few moments that felt way too cinematic to actually be happening to me… and, of course, the reason I crossed an ocean in the first place: finally seeing The Cure. Some trips you plan for months....apparently I just buy the ticket. Welcome to Episode 7 of Redhead Gothcast!

Warped Tour DC & How Motionless In White Broke My Heart...

After an accidental two-month hiatus, Redhead Gothcast is officially back! This week I'm recapping my weekend at Warped Tour DC, from dancing to Sleeping With Sirens, screaming every word with 3OH!3, finally seeing Sace6 live, and once again being reminded why the alternative music community feels like home. But before we get into the festival... Something happened this week that I genuinely never thought I'd say out loud regarding Motionless In White. If you've followed me for any amount of time, you already know how much I love this band... which is exactly why this episode starts with one of the most difficult music conversations I've ever had. In this episode: • My full Warped Tour DC recap • My favorite performances of the weekend • Why 2 bands are impossible for me to rank • A Motionless In White discussion I never expected to have • Why the people in the alternative music scene keep me coming back year after year And stick around, because next week's episode is all about my solo trip to Ireland to see The Cure. The Horror Movie That Permanently Altered My Brain at Age 4

At 4 years old, my uncle sat my brother and I down in front of It… and accidentally altered the trajectory of my entire life. In this episode of Redhead Gothcast, I’m talking about the exact horror movie scenes that permanently scarred me, why sewer drains still make me uncomfortable, how my brother became terrified of horror movies while I built an entire personality around them, and the very real pipeline from childhood psychological damage to goth girl adulthood. Also in this episode: I booked a flight to Ireland to see The CureI accidentally posted an INSANE screenshot to my public storyI shattered my phone screen interviewing a band because my tripod apparently came from Temu So basically: trauma, clowns, metal music, emotional instability, and chaos. Welcome to Redhead Gothcast!

Welcome to Rockville Broke My Brain

Welcome to Rockville 2026 somehow included thunderstorms, sleep deprivation, emotional damage, artist catering, and me completely forgetting how to function like a normal person. In this episode of Redhead Gothcast, I’m recapping the absolute insanity of Rockville weekend, including my favorite sets of the festival, surviving the weather evacuation, accidentally sitting with most of Turnstile, introducing myself to Will Ramos, and the overall chaos of spending four straight days surrounded by thousands of metalheads in the Florida heat. Last week I told you guys what sets I was most excited for going into the festival… this week we’re discussing what actually stole the weekend. My voice is gone. My sleep schedule is ruined. And apparently, my best friend and I are now going to Warped Tour DC. Broadcasting from beyond the grave… this is Redhead Gothcast.

It Wasn't a Phase... I'm Going to My First Rockville!

I’m finally going to Welcome to Rockville… and somehow, I’ve never been before. In this episode, I’m talking about what it feels like to go from being 13 years old in my bedroom blasting metal… to actually being in the crowd at one of the biggest rock festivals in the country for the first time. This is the calm before the chaos. I talk about the bands I’m most excited to see, what I think the experience is going to be like, and what I'm expecting from my first Rockville. Also… I recorded this at midnight because I couldn’t sleep, so expect a little chaos. If you’re going to Rockville or have been before, tell me what bands I NEED to see. The underrated ones. The ones I can’t miss. I’ll report back in the next episode.

The Songs That Shaped My Taste In Music… and My Type in Men

I didn’t grow up listening to metal… and honestly, if you knew what I was blasting at 10 years old, you probably wouldn’t expect me to be here now. In this episode, I’m telling the story of how two songs completely shaped my music taste, my style… and yes, even my type in men. From singing lyrics I definitely didn’t understand in the backseat of my mom’s car… to begging for red pants because of a music video… to somehow ending up backstage watching 3OH!3 live years later, this episode is a full-circle moment. If you’ve ever had a song that defined an era of your life… this one’s for you! How I Ended Up in The Laugh Track Music Video

In this episode of Redhead Gothcast, I’m talking about one of the craziest and most surreal experiences I’ve had and that was being part of The Laugh Track music video! I get into how it even happened, what the day was actually like, and some of the behind-the-scenes moments that people don’t usually get to see. It’s one of those situations where I had to stop and think… how did I even end up here?

    Okay… I Finally Started a Podcast

In this first episode of Redhead Gothcast, I’m finally sitting down and doing something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time… starting a podcast. I talk about what you can expect from the show, why I decided to start it, and the mix of horror, metal, and chaotic life stories that this is all going to revolve around.
