Season 1 Recap of Agree To Understand with Chris Richardson

That's a wrap on Season 1! Host Chris Richardson built a podcast around one radical idea: stop trying to win the argument and start trying to understand the person. In this honest, funny, behind-the-scenes conversation, Chris Richardson and guest host Blair Tate unpack how Agree to Understand grew from a “pie in the sky” vision into a show with real momentum, real audience connection, and real emotional weight. Chris shares the exact moment he knew the podcast was landing—a teaser clip from Sweet Tee’s episode took off, sparked thousands of comments, and made it clear people weren’t just watching, they were returning. Blair pushes him into the parts most listeners never see: the pressure of consistency, the nerves before recording, the accidental blooper that lost 20 minutes of audio, and the creative discipline it takes to keep showing up when you’re building something from scratch. What makes this episode especially moving is its core message: understanding someone is enough. Not every conversation needs to end in agreement, confrontation, or a viral moment. Sometimes the real breakthrough is simply making room for another person to be heard. https://www.chriserichardson.com/ Chris Richardson is an actor, model, and dancer, who has appeared in national TV commercials for brands like SoFi, match.com, Roman, and State Farm, along with modeling campaigns for American Express, Famous Footwear, and Hershey Park.
