The Crimson Cities: Chapter 3, The Masked Storm

Before the Flood: The Crimson Cities is the nextstory in the same antediluvian world as The Fall of Atlantis — Christiandark fantasy set in the days when the Watchers walked the earth and violencefilled it. Where Atlantis is the island empire of rings, marble, andNephilim kings, the Crimson Cities are the mainland temple-states: steppedblack cities, fire-altars, obelisks, and processions of the faithful and thedamned under a horned “god” raised up as if he were the Creator. The prologue, TheGod Ascends, opens on that ascent — children and elders in white ledbetween black-robed priests toward a living idol while the city gathers toworship what heaven has already condemned. The through-line of the series stays the same: a world drunkon forbidden power, a remnant that still remembers the Word, and a judgmentthat will not stay waiting forever. All flesh is grass. The grass withers. TheWord endures. #ChristianSciFi #BookTrailer #TheologicalFiction#SpeculativeFiction #BookTube   Apple Podcasts https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/before-the-flood/id1895486202 Spotify https://open.spotify.com/show/58JzKYeH8m2PxSTu28TWp1 Youtube http://www.youtube.com/@realmattmatson X @mattmatson Instagram @realmattmatson

    BONUS: Teraphim (Abridged) Chapter 12

In a near-future world on the brink of mastering quantum teleportation, brilliant physicist Julian Voss achieves the impossible: instantaneous matter transfer that will end distance forever. But as his breakthrough nears, strange glitches escalate into terrifying warnings—flickering apparitions, exploding lights, and horrifying changes in living subjects that defy science. Haunted by a sorrowful presence that seems determined to stop him, Julian must confront whether his invention is humanity’s salvation… or the opening of a door that should never be unlocked. A chilling blend of hard sci-fi, Christian dark fantasy, and biblical horror, Teraphim explores the terrifying cost of playing God and the ancient line between genius and damnation.
