    Episode 16 - WWII Series - Rise of Nazi Germany

    What's up our Listener Legion?! Today we continue with our second episode in our [what will be very lengthy] World War II series. We are discussing Part 2 of the Rise of Nazi Germany, picking up where we left off from Episode #15. I know we are not even scraping the surface when it comes to WWII and the Nazis, but we are only starting off.  SENSITIVITY DISCLAIMER - We know it goes without saying, but Nazis are bad. Evil. Really evil. They committed unspeakable atrocities that murdered millions of human beings. This genocide happened not that long ago, making this educational topic that much more important to talk about and learn from. We cannot let history repeat itself. We owe it to the victims to keep talking about it. Future generations must know how easily this can happen. By talking about this topic, we are not supporting or condoning any of the viewpoints, ideologies, or actions of the Nazis. This podcast episode is strictly educational. Certainly not scholarly, but educational. If you feel you need to skip this one, we understand, but we hope you stay. As far as beer goes, we continued the system from the last episode where we took our favorite domestic Oktoberfest style beers and pitted them against some imported Oktoberfest beers.     We finally started talking about World War II and we're so glad you are joining us! This is our first episode of the WWII series within FOUR Beers In! To understand this global war, we must understand how it started. To understand how it started, we must understand how the Nazi party came to power in Germany. To understand that, we must understand the economic, military, and political fallout in Germany following WWI. You get it… SENSITIVITY DISCLAIMER - We know it goes without saying, but Nazis are bad.     Episode 13 - Rhodesian Bush War

    Welcome to FOUR Beers In! Today we are discussing a mostly forgotten corner of military history called the Rhodesian Bush War. Rhodesia (now known as Zimbabwe) was a country in Africa that fought a bloody war during the 1970's during the height of the Cold War.     Episode #11 - George Washington  Welcome back to FOUR Beers In! What a time to be in the Listener Legion, because today we're talking about the Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army. El presidente primero. G-Dubs. The man that our nation's capital and an entire state was named after, along with at least one street in every single community in the US. The guy who inadvertently started the French and Indian War for the British.
