    They Showed You Love

    This episode is a celebration. Not of the fathers who get all the credit, but of the people who never asked for any: the ones who show up without a title, without being asked, without needing anyone to notice. I talk about what it means to be raised, in part, by people who had no obligation to stay, and why we so rarely say their names out loud. This one's personal; it's a tribute to my father figure who taught me what love actually looks like, and a reminder that the good ones deserve to be celebrated too.

    Silence is an Answer

    Sometimes being left hanging by someone cuts deeper than it should. And if you've ever felt that, that feeling that goes way further back and deeper than whoever just left you on read, this episode is for you. Last week, I got left hanging. I did something completely out of character and drove by his house. I got a milkshake. And then the day after, something in me said, " Call your dad"... the original guy that disappoints. The first person who taught me what being left hanging actually feels like. We're talking about the patterns we don't even realize we're in, why silence is always an answer, and what happens when one person's absence reopens something you thought was already healed. Silence is loud. And sometimes it says everything. 🖤
