    Dear T | The Boy I Never Forgot

    “I am eager to see my love every day. Maybe it will happen today, tomorrow… maybe in 10 years. But I will be waiting.” In this episode of The Letterbox Podcast, ‘O’ shares a letter to T — someone who has remained in her thoughts for nine years, despite the fact that he may not even remember who she is. From Belgrade, Serbia, 25-year-old ‘O’ writes about a person who unknowingly became a source of happiness and comfort during one of the hardest periods of her life. She wonders whether he remembers the quiet girl she was, while she remembers every word she wrote for him. A letter filled with memories, hope, and the feelings that remain when someone has no idea how much they have meant to you.     To The Person Wondering Why They’re Still Here | A Letter About Finding Reasons To Stay

    Some letters are written to one person. This one is written to anyone who has ever wondered whether they should still be here. Niamh wrote this letter on a flight to Newfoundland, just before setting off on an extraordinary challenge: a solo hike of nearly 700km along the East Coast Trail to raise money and awareness for mental health charities. On 1 March 2024, Niamh attempted to take her own life. Five months later, she completed a solo thru-hike of the East Coast Trail, raising an incredible amount for Canadian mental health initiatives. She’s now walking the trail again—there and back—in the hope that her story helps someone else keep going. This letter includes references to suicidal thoughts and mental health.
