The Sisters have finally migrated into their glamorous new recording location — the closet — and the energy is giving "Narnia, but with wine" vibes. Speaking of which, they almost forgot to talk about the wine. Almost. While tucked between winter coats and questionable shoe choices, Mel and Sara dive into dreams — not the inspirational kind, the nighttime-chaos-brain kind — and things get weird fast. Like "should we be concerned" weird. Then, in true Sisters fashion, they accidentally stumble into a new business venture that absolutely no one asked for: Scorpion Water™. Don't worry, they explain…sort of. Meanwhile, Bryceson gets a frog… sort of. It's complicated. It's slimy. It's very on‑brand. All this, plus the Sisters remember at the last possible second to swoon over their wine of the week! Closet studio. Weird dreams. Scorpion beverages. Frog‑adjacent pets. And wine. Obviously. Trust us — no one was more shocked than the co‑hosts (and sisters) Melanie and Sara.  Never in their wildest dreams… but hey, the suburbs have their perks.  While sippin' on red, the sisters cover a lot of ground: Ice cream trucks — the true suburban siren song Scooter club — yes, it's a thing Siblings — turns out the sisters have more Alexa — is she running your life too? Millennial vs. Xennial vs. Gen X — do you know the difference and which are you? The ladies of moderation try to talk about the neighborhood multiple times… but naturally, they derail, wander, and eventually circle back. Honestly, good for them — and good for you.     We're kicking off this first episode of Easily Distracted: The Sister Podcast with co-hosts (and sisters turned neighbors), Mel and Sara giving the run down in "The Origin Story."  Why? -- Why the hell are they making a podcast? How did this podcast idea come to be? It's so much work! Why don't they have a name in the first episode? Why is it so hard to think of a name? (Want to hear how we landed on "Easily Distracted" check out Episode 3, then definitely Episode 4 [when they come out]!) What wine are they drinking? Did they say they have a dragon in the house? (yes, we did!)  Some of these questions we answer…ok only one-- and let's just say this all has a little something to do with an adult jazz dance class (Thanks, Dominique!).
