Entrepreneurs, Are You Leading Your Family Like You Lead Your Business? - Blake Allsmith [Ep 84]

What if the leadership skills that help you build a successful business could also transform how you lead your family? Entrepreneurs spend years learning how to build teams, create systems, and achieve ambitious goals. But are they applying that same intentionality at home? On this episode of the Glovisor Podcast, Joe Abreu sits down with entrepreneur and author Blake Allsmith, co-author with his wife, Chandler, of The Family Framework. Blake shares how business leadership principles can help families create more clarity, reduce chaos, and build stronger relationships. A father of seven, Blake has founded three companies and sold two. He now works in AI and shares lessons from entrepreneurship, family leadership, and the experience of pursuing a major business exit. Blake discusses his transition into AI, the value of owning an audience, and how he and Chandler combined their perspectives to write The Family Framework. His central question is worth considering: What could your family accomplish if you led it with the same vision and intentionality you bring to your business? Whether you're a founder, executive, entrepreneur, or parent, this conversation may change how you think about leadership, success, and the life you're building along the way. He Spent 30 Years Building the AllCore360 To Change Lives | Dr. Scott Bertrand [Ep 83]

What do you do when you believe you have an idea that could help people, but almost nobody understands it? Dr. Scott Bertrand spent decades answering that question. After suffering a spinal injury as a young man, Scott began questioning how we understand and train the human core. He came to believe that the core is not simply a set of abdominal muscles, but a complex system designed to provide stability and protect the body from forces coming from every direction. That idea became the foundation for the AllCore 360. But creating the machine was only the beginning. Scott describes a journey that included injuries, chiropractic training, prototypes built with duct tape and wire ties, years of refinement, significant personal investment, and countless people who didn't understand what he was trying to create. The first machine took about six months to build. Getting it into a hospital clinic took another 25 years. Then came a breakthrough. A wheelchair user named Lori became one of the first people to use the prototype. Scott describes watching her progress and seeing the response from specialists at Shepherd Center in Atlanta, which eventually led to the hospital taking one of his machines for continued use. Scott's story goes beyond fitness or equipment. It is about persistence, purpose, innovation, and what can happen when someone refuses to abandon an idea they believe can help others. 👤 CONNECT WITH DR. He Invented a Rescue Device Used by SpaceX. Then Shark Tank Said No | See Rescue Streamer [Ep 82]

What if the simplest idea could save a life? Dr. Rob Yonover spent decades developing a deceptively simple invention: the Sea Rescue Streamer, a long, highly visible signaling device designed to help people become easier to spot when lost at sea or in the mountains. The invention eventually made its way into military applications and even onto a SpaceX spacecraft. But getting there was anything but easy. Rob's story is a masterclass in persistence, invention, networking, PR, and playing the long game. He first came up with the idea after looking down from an airplane and realizing just how impossible it could be to spot a person from the air. Years later, after seeing brightly colored plastic from the sky, the idea took shape. He spent years refining the design, using biomimicry and simple engineering to keep the streamer extended instead of twisting or curling. Then came the hustle. Rob used old-school fax machines, late-night calls, media outreach, trade shows, elevator pitches, networking, and eventually Shark Tank to get attention for his invention. And Shark Tank wasn't the end of the story. While the Sharks recognized the potential to save lives, Rob explains why they believed selling safety equipment to everyday consumers would be difficult. Meanwhile, the invention continued gaining military applications, including use by international military organizations and SpaceX. Rob also shares the challenges of building a business around military contracts, surviving long periods between orders, selling safety equipment to consumers, and balancing entrepreneurship with being a caregiver and raising a family. This isn't just an invention story. It's a story about refusing to quit when the market doesn't immediately understand what you've built. 👤 CONNECT WITH DR. He Says Everyone Can Be a Healer. Here's How He Does It | Csongor Daniel [Ep 81]

What if the ability to heal isn't something only a few people possess? Csongor Daniel says everyone has the ability to work with energy, and he claims he can teach people the fundamentals in as little as a day. His journey into bioenergy healing began unexpectedly when he was an engineering student and discovered what he describes as an ability to work with energy without physical contact. What followed was decades of experimentation, learning, teaching, seminars, books, and working with people around the world. In this fascinating episode of the GLOVISOR Podcast, Csongor explains how he discovered bioenergy healing, why he believes anyone can learn it, how he approaches remote sessions, and why he believes the mind plays an important role in the process. He also shares the story of meeting the Croatian healer who became his teacher, the techniques he developed over decades, and how he compresses years of experience into intensive seminars and online training. And then the conversation takes an unexpected turn. Csongor is also passionate about motorcycles and photography. What began with a simple idea after a motorcycle trip eventually became Kanyar Foto, a motorcycle and action photography company operating throughout Europe. She Couldn't Find Answers for Her Health. So She Built the Solution | Saha Collective Story [Ep 80]

What do you do when you can't find the answers you need? You build a better way. After 15 years in the corporate technology world, Alenka Kyslik faced a personal health journey that took her through years of searching, more than $10,000 in expenses, and roughly 50 different treatments. Frustrated by the lack of a system for finding providers outside conventional, insurance-covered options, she decided to build one. The result is Saha Collective, an online matchmaking platform designed to connect people with holistic and complementary providers based on their individual needs. Instead of simply giving people a long list of options, Saha Collective aims to help match individuals with the type of provider that may fit their situation, from DNA testing and gut health coaching to Pilates and therapy. In this episode of the GLOVISOR Podcast, Alenka shares the entrepreneurial lessons behind turning a personal frustration into a business, including why having a great product isn't enough, how to validate an idea before building it, and why learning how to sell can be just as important as learning how to build. Alenka also explains where Saha Collective is headed, who the company is currently looking to serve, and why providers, people experiencing chronic stress, chronic fatigue, or chronic pain, and potential business partners may want to connect. 👤 CONNECT WITH ALENKA KYSLIK 🌐 Saha Collective: https://sahacollective.com 📧 Email: info@sahacollective.com 📱 Social: @saha.collective Mention Glovisor when reaching out 🤝 If you'd like a personal introduction or have questions about working with them, feel free to reach out to us, and we'd be happy to connect you. --- 🚀 Level Up Your Life & Business with Glovisor 👉 Start here: https://Glovisor.com 📘 Learn through our books: https://store.glovisor.com 🎓 Master the system with our guided online course 🤝 Go deeper with personalized 1-on-1 coaching Subscribe to the Glovisor Podcast for conversations with founders, leaders, and experts who share the strategies, systems, and mindsets that drive business growth. #Entrepreneurship #StartupStory #BusinessGrowth #PersonalDevelopment #SahaCollective #AlenkaKyslik #EntrepreneurMindset #HealthcareInnovation #WellnessBusiness #StartupLessons #BusinessStrategy #Glovisor #GlovisorPodcast ⏱️ CHAPTERS 00:00 When You Can't Find the Answers 00:56 The Story Behind Saha Collective 01:41 From Corporate Tech to Entrepreneurship 02:16 The $10,000 Search for Answers 03:51 Getting Out of Your Own Way 04:42 Why Building Isn't Enough 05:23 The Problems You Discover After Launch 06:45 Turning a Business Problem Into an Opportunity 08:26 Building a Double-Sided Marketplace 09:20 Why Partnerships Beat Social Media 10:34 How Saha Collective Makes Money 11:23 Finding the Right Provider 12:31 Who Saha Collective Serves 13:38 The Entrepreneurial Lesson 14:24 What's Next for Saha Collective 14:51 How to Connect With Alenka

He Built a Craigslist Competitor in Brazil | The Cataqui Story - Pars Barghandan [Ep 79]

What does it really take to build a successful startup without unlimited money, a famous name, or a rich uncle? Pars Barghandan is a five-time tech founder with two exits, and his journey is anything but overnight success. From building multiple technology companies to launching Cataqui, a marketplace designed to help people find local gigs and side hustles, Pars shares the failures, founder conflicts, market-testing lessons, guerrilla marketing strategies, and hard-earned insights behind building startups. In this episode of the GLOVISOR Podcast, Pars explains why so many startups fail before they ever get the chance to succeed, and why founders should focus on finding the problem before building the solution. He also reveals how he and his co-founder entered the Brazilian market with Cataqui using unconventional guerrilla marketing, including creative QR-code campaigns, local communities, WhatsApp, subway locations, and even a push-up competition. Cataqui is designed as a marketplace where people can find gigs when they need extra income or want to work independently. Pars describes it as a "Tinder for gigs," where users can find opportunities, connect with the person posting the job, complete the work, and get paid. Pars also shares what Cataqui needed next as it prepared for a broader launch, including marketing talent, developers, operations, HR, and experienced executives who understand the Latin American market. The central message is simple: You don't need unlimited money to start. You need to learn, test, adapt, and keep going.
