    Abraham's Father Worshipped Idols

Abraham's father worshipped idols. The most devout king in Judah's history raised the most notorious one. The verse everyone quotes about generational faith describes a household where the father wasn't a believer. Faith has never run in families. It has always been chosen, one person at a time, and Scripture is remarkably blunt about it. Kevin grew up being told the calling ran in his family - this episode is about why that's a dangerous thing to tell a child, and why the absence of a heritage costs you nothing at all. Kavita, who started with none of it, asks the question every parent listening is already thinking. Start from Episode 1 - the story makes more sense from the beginning. What If God Doesn't Accept Your Worship?

How do you know if God accepts your worship? God once told His own people He hated their worship music - and not one of them realised. They were still showing up, still singing, still doing everything they had been told to do.   Kevin has led worship for most of his adult life and has never been able to read Amos 5 comfortably. This episode asks the question underneath it: how would you know if God didn't accept yours?   We take the word worship apart - the Hebrew that makes no distinction between work and worship, the question Jesus flatly refused to answer at a well in Samaria, and the temple-service language Paul attached to your ordinary body on an ordinary Tuesday. Kavita, who spent years asking God for things and not getting them, presses Kevin on whether his own worship has quietly become a performance.   It ends with the best worshipper in our house, who cannot hold a note. And it ends without Kevin being sure about his own. Nobody Taught Me How to Be a Mother

How do you mother four boys when nobody ever showed you how? Nobody hands you a guidebook when you become a mother. Kavita didn't have one — and she didn't have a template to copy either. She was building something for her boys that nobody had ever built for her. In this episode, Kevin turns the conversation to Kavita and asks her what motherhood has actually been like — the exhaustion of those early years with Tristan, learning to draw the line when everyone had an opinion, the food "boot camp" that turned four boys into children who eat everything, and what it takes to hold it together on an ordinary Wednesday when no miracle is in sight. It's honest about the hard parts. They don't have perfect children, and they'll tell you they're not perfect parents. But woven through all of it is the one thing Kavita says makes the difference: you have to put God in your children's lives from the very beginning. Everything else comes after that. This is the episode for the mother who is carrying it alone, running on no sleep, and wondering if she's getting any of it right. Kavita's answer: be calm. Good things are about to happen. Treat every day as a brand new day. This is Episode 5 of Through Everything — Season 1 of His Faithfulness. "He was faithful. He is faithful. He will be faithful." I Pointed at the Sky and Told God to Prove He Was Real

How do you know God is real when all you have is someone else's word for it? Some stories don't start in church. They start in a dark room, a hospital ward, and a tiny village outside Madrid. This is ours. Kevin grew up in a pastor's family in Malaysia — faith was everywhere, but somewhere in his teens, it stopped being his. It took years of God showing up in small, undeniable ways to bring him back. Even then, success and money made it easy to think he didn't really need Him. Kavita grew up with nothing — no faith, no map, no blueprint. At eight years old, in the dark, frightened for her mother's life, she prayed for the first time and felt something she couldn't explain. Years later, after losing her mother and walking away from God entirely, she found herself sitting alone in a church every week, not knowing how to pray, just knowing she had to keep coming back. God had been walking them towards each other their entire lives. This is Episode 1 of Through Everything — Season 1 of His Faithfulness. "He was faithful. He is faithful. He will be faithful."
