Sunbeam | The Girl Who Could Paint Anything that was REAL

Deep beneath the Siberian wilderness, a classified research project is studying a little girl named Tatiana. Antonov sat at his desk and drank vodka. He cleaned and reassembled his service revolver. Also, he reread the order that had come down from Brezhnev himself. He did all this mechanically and efficiently. As he did everything. What he resolutely didn’t do was look at the file that senior researcher Belov had titled “The Never, Never pictures”. It lay unlooked at besides the bottle and glass. Half the order from the General Secretary had already been carried out. The order read – Liquidate case designate ‘sunbeam’ with extreme prejudice. Immediately. Senior researcher Belov is to be Liquidated – immediately. Extreme prejudice. All material – repeat all material – relating to case designate ‘sunbeam’ is to be destroyed. This is a priority order of the supreme Soviet. He had shot Belov himself. Although he could have ordered one of his men to do it. And he’d done this even though the man had been his friend and had fought alongside him in the great patriotic war against the fascists. Even though he had loved Belov as a brother. This was part of the reason Antonov was weeping. He thought to himself ‘what a sight I would be. If anyone looked. These tears would look either completely ridiculous or completely horrific – because they don’t belong on the face of a man like me’. ‘I look exactly what I am. A peasant son of Russia. A granite faced veteran soldier.’ If you’re ready to discover what was hidden inside the file marked The Never, Never Pictures, press play and join Naya as she brings Stephen’s story to life. Alexander Was Losing the Battle. Then the Ghosts of Future Cavalry Arrived. | The Lion at the Turn of the Tide, Part 3 (Finale)

The bait is taken and the trap is sprung. And when the ocean itself turns black, something unimaginable rides out from the forest. Welcome to the final chapter of The Lion at the Turn of the Tide, an original historical horror story by Stephen Sinclair, read by Naya Nomikou. The king has goaded the Deep Ones into a killing rage. Now they pour from the sea in their tens of thousands, a living tidal wave of frog-like devils. He rides for the cliffs, where sixteen thousand veterans wait in a hollow square. The Silver Shields. The Cretan archers. The sarissa pikes with their “little teeth.” Seven times the horde assaults the fortress of men. Seven times they are thrown back. Seleucus leads a sally that cuts through the enemy like a switch through weeds. But then the priests of Dagon raise their arms to the sky, and black tendrils of darkness rise from the ocean. Father Dagon and Mother Hydra have come to aid their children. The sun is blotted out. The Deep Ones laugh. And then a horn sounds. The final battle against the Deep Ones. 🔔 Subscribe for more original horror stories. #AlexanderTheGreat #DeepOnes #LovecraftianHorror #EpicBattle #HistoricalHorror #OriginalHorrorStory #CreepyStories #FatherDagon #MotherHydra #GhostHorsemen This is a public episode.
