Law & Order: Death at the Door

Inez

Law & Order is a reflective narrative podcast exploring the connection between the laws of health, the laws of God, and the rhythms woven into creation itself. Hosted by Inez Reyes, each episode blends personal storytelling, scripture from the King James Version Bible, practical health insight, and thoughtful reflection to uncover how physical, emotional, and spiritual laws shape our lives—whether we understand them or not. Inspired by the 8 Natural Laws of health discussed in The Ministry of Healing by Ellen G. White, Law & Order examines topics such as burnout, rest, stress, nutrition, emotional healing, trust in God, and the consequences of living outside the design we were created for. Through gentle storytelling and meaningful conversation, this podcast was created especially for the weary woman—the mother, caregiver, or exhausted soul trying to do everything “right” while silently struggling within. This is not a podcast about perfection. It is a journey toward understanding. Because healing often begins when we finally slow down long enough to listen. Join us weekly as we learn how returning to God’s principles can restore balance, peace, and purpose—not only for this life, but for the life to come.

What Happens When We Stop Moving?

What happens when a body designed for movement spends most of the day sitting still? Modern life has made it possible to work, shop, learn, worship, pay bills, and entertain ourselves without moving very much at all. But while our environment has changed, the design of the human body has not. In this episode of Law & Order: Commandments & Natural Laws, Inez Reyes explores movement as more than exercise, weight loss, or something we do because a doctor told us to. From the Garden of Eden to what modern science is discovering about physical inactivity, we’ll look at a simple truth: movement was present when everything was very good. And there is another kind of movement woven throughout Scripture. Enoch walked with God. Noah walked with God. Abraham was told to walk before Him. Again and again, God describes a life with Him as a walk. What might the design of the body teach us about the way God intended us to live? Movement isn’t punishment. Movement is a gift. 🎙️ Law & Order: Commandments & Natural Laws A Blessed Impressions Media podcast. Trust in God: Lessons in Unfinished Paths

When You Don’t Know How the Story Ends What does it mean to trust God when you still don’t know how the story ends? In this deeply personal episode of Law & Order, Inez shares a testimony that is still being written. After a year of uncertainty, closed doors, new beginnings, and questions about the future, she awakened one Sabbath morning with three simple words impressed upon her heart: Trust in God. Through Proverbs 3:1–12, the experience of the Israelites, and research on faith and the body’s response to stress, we explore what happens when we stop trying to carry tomorrow and allow God to direct the path. Sometimes God doesn’t give us the entire plan. Sometimes He simply reminds us of who He is. Remember what He has already done. Acknowledge Him in what you are doing now. Trust Him with what you cannot see. And walk where He directs. “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5, KJV For Christ-centered books, encouraging gifts, and the companion blog, visit Blessed Impressions Media. I think this is just enough for Buzzsprout. It gives them the question, personal hook, biblical foundation, and reason to listen without telling them the whole story before they press play. God's Design for Sabbath Rest

Did God create the Sabbath because He needed rest… or because we do? In this episode of Law & Order, we journey back to Creation to discover one of the greatest love stories in all of Scripture—the story of a Creator who thoughtfully designed every aspect of life for the good of His children. Beginning with a simple conversation about why Christians disagree over the Sabbath, we explore a deeper question: What does the Sabbath reveal about the heart of God? Together we'll discover that the Sabbath was never intended to be a burden, but a gift—a weekly invitation to step away from striving and spend time with the One who created us, redeemed us, and longs for a relationship with us. We'll explore:  Why God rested on the seventh day if He never grows weary.  Jesus' invitation to find true rest in Him (Matthew 11:28–29).  The Sabbath as a sign between God and His people.  Why Jesus called the Sabbath a gift made for humanity.  How the early church continued to gather on the Sabbath.  What modern research is discovering about weekly rhythms of rest, sleep, and overall well-being.  Why God's moral law and His natural law work together in perfect harmony. This episode isn't about winning an argument. It's about discovering the heart of a loving Father who has been thinking about our well-being since the foundation of the world. Because our Father did not give us His commandments to burden us. He gave them because He loves us. He thought of everything. 📖 Scriptures  Matthew 11:28–29  Genesis 2:1–3  Ezekiel 20:12, 20  Deuteronomy 5:12–15  Isaiah 56:2, 6–7  Isaiah 58:13–14  Mark 2:27–28  Luke 4:16  Acts 13:42, 44  Acts 16:13  Hebrews 4:4, 9–10  John 14:15  Revelation 14:12 ❤️ Final Thought Every week, God extends the same invitation He has offered since Creation: Come. Rest. Remember. Because the Sabbath is not simply twenty-four hours without work. It is twenty-four hours with Jesus.
