Oscar Wilde, , La Fuite de la Lune

While at Trinity Collage, Wilde obtained a reputation for clever repartee and keen wit. While at Oxford Wilde made his first essay in public as a writer by contributing several poems to Dublin magazines. - Temple Scott from the Introduction to Poems by Oscar Wilde (1906)
