OREGON HERO STOPS RAMPAGE, TRUMP OUSTS PRESS SECRETARY | LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B

Damon Roberts opens with a direct midterms warning that the country being defended only holds if voters turn out to protect the majorities still able to say no. A 36-year-old Bend, Oregon father named Kaylub Giamanco saw a 16-year-old former student enter Silver Rail Elementary on Thursday and followed him inside with a legally carried pistol. The teen had already killed three children and a teacher in a special-needs classroom before Giamanco engaged him. A teacher had thrown her phone and tackled the gunman moments earlier. Dispatch audio and police confirmed the father ended the threat before officers arrived; his mother later confirmed he has two daughters at the school.   Katie Zacharia lasted roughly five days as White House press secretary after a brief, heavily scripted debut that took only three questions and raised immediate questions about her background and legal credentials. President Trump publicly suggested she reconsider the role, and the White House confirmed she is transitioning out.   Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez's earlier description of Elon Musk as one of the most unintelligent billionaires she has met continues to draw mockery given his record building and scaling multiple major companies.   CNN reporting on the federal immigration-fraud investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar has detailed a judicially authorized search of her home, limitations a magistrate judge placed on access to her records because of her congressional status, and prior inquiries that undercut a pure "politically motivated" framing. Omar has called the probe an effort to weaponize law enforcement; investigators are examining possible false statements on immigration paperwork involving her and her late father.   Sports, odds, and the rest of the day's action round out the show.   Hosts Damon Roberts, Rick Delgado, Rick Ammirati, and Kevin Downey Jr. break it all down live from Studio 6B.   What will it take to get enough people to show up and hold the majorities that can still say no?

TRUMP RALLIES YOUNGSTOWN, FEDS RAID OMAR HOME | LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B

President Trump returns to Youngstown, Ohio, for a midterm rally at the Covelli Centre, supporting Sen. Jon Husted, gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and other Ohio GOP candidates. Doors open 3:30 p.m., rally starts 5:30 p.m., Trump remarks around 7 p.m. ET.   Federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations executed a judicially authorized search warrant at Rep. Ilhan Omar's Washington, D.C., home as part of an ongoing criminal investigation tied to immigration paperwork and related allegations. Omar's office called it an "outrageous abuse of power." Damon Roberts opens with his First Word: rules apply to everyone, including those who write them.   Texas Democrat Senate candidate James Talarico and his campaign denied claims he was treated at an Ohio mental health facility, stating he was home in Austin recovering from the flu. The facility also confirmed he was never a patient there.   Ohio Sen. Bernie Moreno called for an FCC investigation into ABC News over a since-corrected story on Trump sons' ties to Anduril (originally claiming a major $2.5B stake that was inaccurate). FCC Chair Brendan Carr directed a probe into the "political hit job."   NHL, MLB postseason (Dodgers-Brewers NLCS, Guardians-Rays ALCS), and other action plus what the books are watching tonight.   Hosts Damon Roberts, Rick Delgado, Rick Ammirati, and Paul Nolan break it all down live from Studio 6B on Real America's Voice.   Question for the audience: Does the federal search of Ilhan Omar's home strengthen accountability, or does it risk looking like political targeting this close to the midterms?

RUBIO DEFENDS THE WEST, VANCE BARS MICROSOFT | LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B

There's a party every weeknight in Studio 6B, and you're invited. Damon Roberts, Rick Delgado, Rick Ammirati, and Vin Butta on the stories moving tonight.   Marco Rubio stood at the Pnyx on Oct. 7 with the Parthenon behind him and argued the West was built on ambition, risk, and a civilization worth defending. Athens to America, and why he says that inheritance is slipping.   Miranda Devine calls the latest anti-Trump hit the most nonsensical yet: Democrats and outlets treating a Nebraska rally riff on Iranian missiles as an invitation to hit LA and San Diego. She says the clip says the opposite, and the stretch only hurts Dems before Nov. 3.   JD Vance says the administration is indefinitely barring Microsoft, Adobe, Infosys, and other firms from new and pending PERM green-card filings, alleging they used the program to swap Americans for cheaper labor. Probes also hit nine universities, including Harvard, Yale, and Stanford.   At a Union Square Oct. 7 vigil, Mayor Zohran Mamdani was booed and called a traitor by protesters who marched from City Hall. Reports and photos show Hamas and Hezbollah flags in the crowd. Gov. Hochul called disrupting the vigil despicable.   Ex-prosecutor Daniel Wiesenfeld tells the New York Post that AG Letitia James kept a Trump-linked probe alive after investigators found nothing. "What Tish wanted, Tish got." The office has rejected the claim. His account, not a court finding.   Oddsmakers, lines, and whatever else breaks before the show ends.   Was Trump's Nebraska line a missile warning or an invite to hit California?

TRUMP RALLIES TEXAS, FBI BUSTS MALL TERROR PLOT | LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B

Trump hits San Antonio, the FBI says it stopped an ISIS-inspired Mall of America plot, and a former CIA official admits a gold-bar scheme. Damon Roberts, Rick Delgado, Rick Ammirati, and Paul Nolan break it down live from Studio 6B. MIDTERMS President Trump rallies at Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio with Senate nominee Ken Paxton. It is his third Texas trip in a month. Recent polls show Democrat James Talarico ahead in a race Republicans expected to hold.   The FBI says it arrested Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud, 18, of Richfield, Minnesota, after an undercover sale of an inert AK-47, magazines, and ammunition. Prosecutors say he planned a mass shooting at the Mall of America around an Oct. 24 event and expressed support for ISIS.   Former CIA official David Rush pleaded guilty to wire fraud and agreed to forfeit at least $194 million. Agents found about 298 gold bars at his home. The plea also covers Florida properties, luxury watches, and vehicles.   From the Acropolis, Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Europe the West is at an inflection point. He urged allies to defend Western values, reject managed decline, and strengthen the alliance with the United States.   New York is skipping its planned 2027 minimum-wage increase. A job-count drop from January to July tripped a statutory off-ramp. The rate stays $17 downstate and $16 in the rest of the state.   Scores, headlines, and what else is moving tonight.   Question for the chat: Does Trump's San Antonio rally move the needle for Ken Paxton, or is Texas already slipping?

TRUMP ORDERS FIRING SQUAD, BLUE WAVE CLAIM CRUMBLES | LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B

LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B with Damon Roberts, Rick Delgado, Rick Ammirati, and Vin Butta. Guest: Nate Dressel, founder and operator of Frontier Coffee.   The drive-by media is selling a Blue Wave for the midterms. Not so fast. Damon breaks down the battleground math with one month to go.   A new Harvard-Harris survey finds broad, cross-party support for photo ID and proof of citizenship to vote — 82% and 79% overall — as the SAVE America Act fight continues.   President Trump approved Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's recommendation: convicted Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan to face a U.S. Army firing squad. If carried out, it would be the first military execution since 1961.   Officials are still seeking answers after a worker at Siberia's Irkutsk anti-plague institute died of pneumonia of unknown origin. Contacts were quarantined. Rubio says Moscow must share more. The threat to the U.S. remains unclear.   About 3,100 Maricopa County ballots went out six days early after a Runbeck vendor error. The county says the ballots are valid and any early returns stay sealed until processing starts. Trump called the county dishonest.   On video, a James Talarico field organizer says most of her coworkers are Marxists and calls the Democrat nominee "the vehicle" for their policies in the race against Ken Paxton.   Nate Dressel of Frontier Coffee joins the desk.   Should Nidal Hasan face a firing squad — and is the Blue Wave real, or media spin?

RUBIO WARNS PLAGUE COULD SPREAD, BOMBERS FLEE U.K. BASE | LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B

LIVE FROM STUDIO 6B with Damon Roberts, Rick Delgado, Rick Ammirati, and Paul Nolan. AFFORDABILITY AND THE MIDTERMS Damon's First Word: Democrats are the last people in America who ought to be lecturing anybody about high prices. Taxes, grocery bills, and who voters blame heading into November.   Secretary of State Marco Rubio says a suspected infection at a Russian anti-plague lab could "quickly spread" if it gets out. A lab worker in Siberia died after a reported exposure. Russia has put contacts under observation. Rubio says it is not cause for alarm, but it is cause for focus. Washington is watching.   U.S. B-1 bombers have been pulled from RAF Fairford back to American bases after fresh threat warnings tied to an alleged Iran-backed plot. JD Vance called the move an abundance of caution. Downing Street says the base is safe.   Harry Enten's read: since 2016, Republicans have beaten September polls in Iowa, Ohio, and Michigan, often by 5 points or more, including in the 2018 midterms. Democrats are ahead or close in some of those Senate races. The leads are smaller than the old miss.   Runbeck mailed about 3,100 Maricopa County ballots on Oct. 1, six days before the Oct. 7 start. Recorder Justin Heap says the ballots are valid and went to the right voters. President Trump called Maricopa dishonest and rejected the "error" explanation.   Trump is rallying in Grand Island for Sen. Pete Ricketts and Gov. Jim Pillen, a month out from Nov. 3. Ricketts faces independent Dan Osborn. Ranchers are also pushing back on beef imports.   Oddsmakers, lines, and what the numbers say heading into the week.   Question for the audience: Is Rubio right to treat the Russia lab death as a focus, not an alarm, or is Washington underplaying it?
