People Helping People Live is a mission-driven podcast built on the belief that real change begins with real conversations. Through honest, intentional dialogue, we bring together everyday people, business owners, nonprofits, and community leaders to share stories, identify real needs, and build genuine relationships. One conversation at a time, we are creating a growing network of people who believe in showing up, giving back, and doing the work together. The impact we create doesn’t start with fundraising. It starts with connection. As our conversations grow into relationships and our relationships grow into community, meaningful action naturally follows. Our fundraising efforts and charitable initiatives are a byproduct of the trust, awareness, and momentum built through the podcast and the People Helping People network. To ensure transparency and real impact, we organize our work into chapters, each focused on a specific cause or need. Every chapter has a clear purpose, a defined goal, and a visible outcome—so our supporters can see exactly how their support is changing lives. People Helping People Live is not about charity for attention or causes without clarity. It’s about people helping people, in real time, with real stories, real solutions, and real results. This is change driven by conversation. This is community built on connection. This is People Helping People.

Ep 83 Is There A Difference Between Manifesting And Praying? With Zach Edwards and Joel Bloomquist

Faith, ego, manifestation, simulation theory, and UFOs — all in one conversation. When Alexander sits down with two of his closest friends, Zach Edwards and Joel Bloomquist, there's no agenda, no script, and no filter. Just three guys who trust each other enough to go there. They get into ego — how it sneaks in, how it hides behind religion, how becoming a father or watching your parents age can quietly strip it away. Zach talks about reading the Bible every single morning this year, missing one day, and immediately knowing something was off. Joel connects manifestation to scripture in a way that genuinely reframes the whole concept. And Alexander sits in the middle of it all, honest about where he is with God — grateful, curious, and still figuring out what the constructs mean to him personally. Then things get really interesting. UFO files, simulation theory, atoms that stop moving when they're being watched, and whether any of it shakes a faith built on personal experience. Spoiler: it doesn't. But the conversation around it is worth every minute. This is the episode you send to a friend who's spiritually curious but allergic to religion. It's raw, it's real, and it's one of the best roundtables this show has ever had. 🎙️ Connect with our guests: 📸 Joel Bloomquist: https://www.instagram.com/youngmynd 📸 Zach Edwards: https://www.instagram.com/playyard.info 💙 Presented by People Helping People Live 🎧 Real Conversations. Ep 82 20 Years of Military Service and the Truth About America With Aaron Greer

Aaron Greer didn't grow up in a military family. He joined the Army National Guard at 23 because his best friend was going back to Iraq and he didn't want to be left behind. What started as loyalty to a friend turned into nearly two decades of service, two deployments, and a life shaped by things most people will never see. This one's a real conversation between two old friends. Alexander and Aaron go back — they sold phones together, ran around Tucson, and now here they are catching up on camera for the first time. Aaron walks through what it was actually like to land in Iraq as a 23-year-old gunner on top of an armored truck, staring down at Baghdad and thinking, "What have I done?" He talks about the moment a bomb went off 400 yards away and the ground shook under his feet — and how that was the instant the whole thing became real. Aaron also gets into something he says he's never really talked about before: what the military has done for him personally. Not the resume stuff. The real stuff. Like how 19 years of service has kept him on the straight and narrow when his life could've easily gone a different direction. And why, even with everything he's seen, he wouldn't trade a single experience. If you've ever wondered what it's actually like over there — or what brings someone back for nearly two decades — this is the episode to hear. 💙 Presented by People Helping People Live 🎧 Real Conversations. Ep 81 She Started A Male Dominated Business! You Can Too!

Angelica Khan didn't grow up dreaming about dump trucks. She was on a fast track in banking, a VP title within reach, and a retirement plan already mapped out. Then COVID hit, and everything changed. What she built on the other side of that pivot — Khan Industries, a five-truck commercial dump trucking company she runs with her husband in Washington State — is one of the most quietly impressive stories to come through this show. Angelica breaks down what it actually takes to own and operate heavy equipment as a female minority business owner in a male-dominated industry. From getting her CDL just to prove she's the one running the show, to her husband signing away ownership rights so she could keep her certifications, the hoops are real. But so is the payoff. She talks about what it felt like the first time she saw all five of her trucks on the same job site — and why that moment never gets old. The conversation also gets real about building a team you can actually trust, what she looks for when hiring drivers, and the biggest red flag in any interview. Spoiler: it's not a gap in their resume. She also opens up about raising two daughters while running a business, and why she's not pressuring either of them to have it figured out at 13 — because she's living proof that the plan you make and the life you actually live can look nothing alike. If you've ever felt like you were meant for something different than what you're currently doing, this one's going to hit. 🎙️ Connect with Angelica Khan: 🌐 Website: https://kahndump.com 📸 Instagram: @mrskahn02 📘 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100083207588445 💙 Presented by People Helping People Live 🎧 Real Conversations. Ep 80 From the Bus Stop to the Mountaintop | People Helping People Live

Mike Curry has been through it. Homelessness. Prison. Addiction that took him to the lowest places a person can go. And now? He's seven and a half years sober, running his own coaching business, and showing up every single day to help others find the clarity he had to fight hard to get. This conversation is one you're going to want to sit with. Mike and Alexander get into all of it — the moment Mike surrendered his parental rights because of his addiction, what it felt like to sleep at bus stops in Tucson, and the second time his sponsor asked him what he wanted out of the 12-step process. The first time, Mike said a BMW and a big house. The second time, he said peace in his heart. That shift — that's what this episode is really about. They also talk about what it means to be a man who actually asks for help. The ego that gets in the way. The feelings we bury that eventually come out sideways. The business owners who are quietly drinking alone in their garages every night because they don't know who to talk to. Mike's been there too, and he's not pretending otherwise. If you've ever felt like your story was too messy to share, or like you had to keep the mask on just to survive — this one's for you. Mike is living proof that transparency isn't weakness. It's the whole thing. 🎙️ Connect with Mike Curry: 🌐 Website: mikecurrycoaching.com 📸 Instagram: @mikecurryofficial 👤 Facebook: Mike Curry 💙 Presented by People Helping People Live 🎧 Real Conversations.
