Human Enough is a podcast about the messy, beautiful experience of being human. Each episode explores real stories, honest conversations, and thoughtful reflections on identity, emotions, growth, relationships, purpose, and the quiet pressure to “have it all together.” It’s a space where vulnerability is not only allowed but welcomed—because being human isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being enough as you are.

I Sold Addiction for 20Years. Now I Treat It:Dr. David Hoskins onAddiction and theProdigal Road Home

What happens when the person who once profited from addiction eventually dedicates his life to treating it? In this episode of HUMAN ENOUGH, I sit down with Dr. David Hoskins, a clinical psychologist, spiritual director, and founder of Sanctuary Clinics. David was raised through three generations of Pentecostal pastors and missionaries and was once a licensed minister studying for a PhD in Biblical Studies. Then he walked away from the faith. The two decades that followed took him into a world far removed from the one he grew up in — including Russian organized-crime networks, international distribution across the former Soviet Union, and ownership of strip clubs on three continents. At forty, a spiritual transformation sent him back in a completely different direction. He eventually pursued graduate degrees in Religious Studies, Jewish Studies, Marriage and Family Therapy, earned a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist credential and a PsyD, and went on to build Christian behavioral-health organizations focused on some of the hardest cases other programs struggle to treat. Today, he works at the intersection of Christian Psychology, addiction, spiritual formation, and servant leadership. We talk about addiction, cannabis-induced psychosis, complex trauma, sexual compulsivity, ministry burnout, spiritual transformation, Christian psychology, and what a person actually needs when they are trying to find their way home. You Teach People How toTreat You: Robin Quinn Keehn onSetting Boundaries and Reclaiming Your Peace

What if some of the exhaustion, frustration, and resentment you carry isn’t coming from everything you have to do, but from the conversations you keep avoiding? In this episode of HUMAN ENOUGH, I sit down with Robin Quinn Keehn, a Human Dynamics Specialist, Certified Mediator, and author of Stop Stealing From Yourself, to explore the hidden cost of unfinished conversations, unspoken boundaries, broken promises, and unresolved conflict. After spending years being the peacemaker and the person who kept everyone else comfortable, Robin experienced the end of a 28-year marriage and later found herself in another relationship marked by broken promises. Those experiences helped her recognize a pattern she now calls “Open Loops”—the unresolved situations that quietly consume our time, energy, and peace. We talk about why we avoid difficult conversations, how our desire to keep the peace can lead us to abandon ourselves, and what it means to establish boundaries without becoming cruel or confrontational. Robin also shares why she believes calmness can be a powerful form of authority and how her Debate Without Hate curriculum helps children learn to disagree respectfully. If you’ve ever struggled to say no, swallowed your feelings to avoid conflict, or kept waiting for someone else’s behavior to change, this conversation will challenge you to consider what it might mean to stop giving your peace away. Finding Your True Voice: Alison David on Healing, Self-Expression, and the Courage to Be Heard

What does it mean to find your voice—not just the voice people hear when you speak or sing, but the part of you that knows who you are, what you believe, and what you want to bring into the world? In this episode of HUMAN ENOUGH, I sit down with Alison David, a singer, writer, speaker, and self-described musical medicine woman who helps creatives and visionaries explore the healing power of the voice and sound. Despite her magnetic presence on stage, Alison has spent years learning how to show up confidently beyond the spotlight—in her personal life, business relationships, and leadership. Through her experience as a performer and people-pleaser, she began questioning whether the voice she shared with the world truly reflected who she was. That exploration led her to discover tools involving voice, sound, and personal expression that she now brings to her work with clients. We talk about people-pleasing, negative self-talk, confidence, creativity, personal mantras, and how reclaiming your voice can help you take action on the things that matter to you. We also explore her interest in working with water, the idea of “bad spells” and “good spells,” and why she believes freeing our voices matters in the world today. Because sometimes finding your voice isn’t about learning to speak louder. It’s about becoming more comfortable expressing who you really are. Connect with Alison David: https://www.alisondavid.com/
