God’s Interest In Marriage II: Marriage As Ministry

Before you get married, you need to work on yourself. But what does that preparation actually involve? In Episode 18 of Abba’s Business Podcast, God’s Interest in Marriage II: Marriage as Ministry, Clinton Okirie is joined by his wife, Madeleine Okirie, for an honest conversation about personal growth, Kingdom sacrifice, and building a Christian marriage. Drawing from their own experience, Clinton and Madeleine share some of the habits, expectations, and behaviours they both had to work on as they learned to build a life together. They discuss being teachable, communicating honestly, recognising your own shortcomings, and making room for God in your marriage. Love and attraction matter, but everyday married life also calls for humility, forgiveness, service, and a willingness to change. How do you respond when your spouse challenges you? What happens when your preferences clash? And how can the way you treat each other become an expression of worship to God? Whether you’re single, dating, engaged, or married, this episode invites you to reflect on the person you are becoming and what it takes to sustain a healthy Christian marriage. Before asking, “Who is the right person for me?” consider: “Am I preparing to be a loving, dependable, and teachable spouse?” What is one thing you believe people should work on before getting married? Power & Authority

KINGDOM POWER & AUTHORITY | EPISODE 17 | UNDERSTANDING THE POWER IN THE NAME OF JESUS What does it really mean to have authority in the name of Jesus? In Episode 17 of Abba’s Business Podcast, Clinton Okirie sits down with resident guest Praise Nyeruka to explore Kingdom power, spiritual authority, and why knowing the Scriptures for yourself matters. The name of Jesus is more than a phrase we add to the end of a prayer. It represents the authority of Christ. But how do we grow in our understanding of that authority and exercise it in our daily lives? Pastors, spiritual leaders, and intercession have an important place in our faith journey. Yet every believer is also called to develop a personal relationship with God, study His Word, and learn to pray with confidence in Christ. In this episode, we discuss: • What Kingdom power and authority mean for believers.
• The authority behind the name of Jesus.
• Why knowing who you are in Christ matters.
• The role of Scripture in shaping your understanding and confidence in prayer.
• How to take responsibility for your spiritual growth while receiving support from spiritual leaders. This conversation invites you to move beyond familiar expressions and deepen your understanding of what you believe—and why. Don’t outsource your spiritual growth. Study the Word, pray, and grow in your relationship with the One whose name you call upon. 🎧 Listen to Episode 17 and share it with someone who wants to better understand their authority in Christ. 📺 Watch Abba’s Business Podcast on YouTube.

    Waiting on The Lord II

WAITING ON THE LORD PART 2 | EPISODE 16 | WHAT BIBLICAL PEOPLE TEACH US ABOUT WAITING ON GOD How do you keep trusting God when what He has promised looks nothing like what you are experiencing? In Episode 16 of Abba’s Business Podcast, we continue our conversation on Waiting on the Lord by exploring the lives of biblical people who walked through uncertainty, hardship, and years of waiting. Abraham and Sarah waited for a promised son. Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and imprisonment before seeing God’s purpose unfold. David was anointed king but spent years waiting to take the throne. Their experiences offer encouragement and lessons about faith, patience, obedience, and the consequences of taking matters into our own hands. Through their stories, we explore: • Why the journey between a promise and its fulfilment can involve waiting.
• How to remain faithful when you do not understand God’s timing.
• What impatience can lead us to do—and what we can learn from their mistakes.
• How to recognise opportunities for growth and obedience while we wait. If you are waiting for direction, an answer to prayer, a relationship, or an opportunity, this conversation will encourage you to deepen your trust in God and remain faithful in your present season. “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength…” — Isaiah 40:31, KJV Listen to Episode 16, share it with someone who needs encouragement, and follow Abba’s Business Podcast for more conversations that point us to Jesus.

    Waiting On The Lord

WAITING ON THE LORD | EPISODE 14 | CLINTON OKIRIE & ADRIAN OLISAH What do you do when you have prayed, trusted God, and the answer still hasn’t come? Whether you are waiting for direction, a job, restoration, a relationship, or a breakthrough, the uncertainty can test your faith. You may even find yourself asking, “God, have You forgotten me?” In Episode 14 of Abba’s Business Podcast, Clinton Okirie and Adrian Olisah explore what it means to wait on the Lord and how to remain faithful while trusting His timing. Waiting on God involves faith, obedience, and dependence on Him. It calls us to keep praying, remain attentive to His direction, and trust His wisdom even when we cannot understand what He is doing. Together, we explore how a season of waiting can deepen our faith, develop patience, refine our character, and prepare us for what lies ahead. Drawing from Proverbs 3:5–6 and Psalm 27:14, this conversation encourages us to trust God beyond our understanding and find courage in His promises. What is God developing in you while you wait? “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:31, KJV If you are growing weary in your waiting season, this episode offers encouragement to keep your expectation anchored in God. Bring Him your questions, continue in obedience, and allow Him to strengthen your heart. Your waiting is not wasted when you are waiting on God. 🎧 Listen to Episode 14, follow Abba’s Business Podcast, and share this conversation with someone who needs encouragement while they wait.

    The Fatherhood Nature of God

THE FATHERHOOD NATURE OF GOD | Clinton Okirie & Adrian Olisah What changes when you stop seeing God only as Lord and King and begin to truly know Him as Father? Many believers struggle to approach God after failure. We hide, avoid prayer, withdraw from fellowship, and sometimes convince ourselves that we must first fix everything before we can come back to Him. But understanding the Fatherhood nature of God changes the way we relate with Him. A child who falls and gets hurt does not run away from a loving father because they are wounded—they run towards him. In the same way, our failures, struggles, questions, and weaknesses should not drive us away from God. They should remind us where to run. In Episode 12 of the Abba’s Business Podcast, Clinton Okirie and Adrian Olisah explore what it truly means to know God as Father and how this revelation transforms our prayer life, our confidence in God, and the way we respond when we fall short. We discuss: What it really means to know God as FatherWhy believers do not have to be afraid to approach GodHow understanding God’s fatherhood changes the way we prayWhy failure should not make us run away from HimThe difference between hiding from God and running to HimGod’s love, grace, correction, protection, and careHow to develop a deeper relationship with GodThe confidence, identity, and security that come from knowing God as FatherYou may have failed. You may have drifted. You may feel unworthy or unsure of how to return. But you can still come to Him. The Father is not someone you have to hide from when you need help. He is the One you run to. 🎧 Listen, share, and join the conversation. What does knowing God as Father mean to you? Faith: The Spiritual Conviction

“The just shall live by faith.” — Romans 1:17 Faith is more than believing that God exists. It is a spiritual conviction—a deep assurance that God is who He says He is, His Word is true, and His promises remain trustworthy even when circumstances seem to say otherwise. In this episode of Abba’s Business Podcast, Clinton Okirie and Adrian Olisah explore what it truly means for a believer to live by faith. What does faith look like when you cannot see the outcome? How do you trust God when His timing does not match yours? What happens when fear, uncertainty, and unanswered questions begin to challenge what you believe? This conversation explores biblical faith, obedience, trusting God through uncertainty, acting on His Word, overcoming fear, and strengthening your faith through Scripture. Faith does not mean you will never have questions. It means your questions do not become greater than your confidence in God. Sometimes faith is praying when you cannot see a way out. Sometimes it is obeying an instruction you do not fully understand. Sometimes it is waiting when everything in you wants an immediate answer. And sometimes, faith is simply waking up and choosing again to believe that God is still working. You may not know how it will happen or when it will happen, but faith says: “I know who holds my future.” As believers, faith is not something we turn to only in desperate moments. Faith is how we live. 🎧 Listen to Episode 11 and be encouraged to trust God beyond what you can see, understand, or control. The just shall live by faith.
