PSA Is Back… and Sports Are Heating Up

PSA is starting to open submissions back up, so I break down the new service level and whether it actually makes sense for collectors and sellers. Then we switch gears and talk sports. The MLB playoff race, teams getting hot at the right time, and the start of the NFL season. A little grading, a little cards, and a lot more sports on this episode of Just a Guy Selling Cards. Keep collecting, keep learning, and keep building your collection… one card at a time.

I Slacked.... But the business didn't

It’s been a month since the last episode… yeah, I slacked. But Finz Collectibles definitely didn’t. In this episode of Just a Guy Selling Cards, I’m catching up on everything that’s happened over the past month from setting up as a vendor at my first card show and learning what actually works behind the table, to changing the way I buy inventory, dealing with eBay and USPS, the frustration with PSA, and another expensive reminder of why ripping hobby boxes isn’t always good business. I also talk about where Finz Collectibles is headed next, what I’m changing for the next card show, and what I’m learning as I try to turn this from simply selling cards into a real business. No guru stuff. No pretending every deal is a win. Just the real ups and downs of building a sports card business one card at a time. Just a Guy Selling Cards — presented by Finz Collectibles.
