    Blood can't be manufactured, ordered from a factory or stored forever. Every transfusion begins with a person willing to donate. In this episode of Blood Type: Texan, host Ashley Claster sits down with Andrea Sign, Carter BloodCare's director of marketing, communications and donor relations, to explore why donated blood remains one of the few lifesaving medical resources with no substitute.
