    The Law School of Life

Welcome back. Today, we are talking about what happens when your spiritual awakening collides with the raw, unfiltered reality of fighting for your life, your purpose, and your truth. For the longest time, I thought success looked a certain way. I always wanted to go to law school. But life had a different, far more unconventional classroom in mind. Right now, I am enrolled in what I call the #1 law school in the world: The Law School of Life. There’s no hand-holding here. No hypothetical case briefs in a quiet, air-conditioned lecture hall. Instead, I’ve found myself in the middle of five active lawsuits, standing toe-to-toe against large, established law firms. And let me tell you something—not only am I still standing, but I am jumping for absolute gratitude. Because the lessons I am learning here? You can’t buy them in a textbook. When you’re dealing with opponents who are often running on ego, narcissism, and unearned confidence, the dynamic changes entirely. People ask me, “How do you gather evidence without a massive investigative team or expensive expert witnesses?” The secret? You let them do the heavy lifting. The most devastating argument you can build is using your opponent’s own words, their own documents, and their own filings against them. Think about it for a second—what are they going to do? Are they going to walk into court and argue with themselves? When you strip away the emotion and look strictly at the mechanics, it keeps you thinking outside the box. It forces you to think like a seasoned lawyer. In this arena, emotion gets you dismissed. Sticking strictly to the cold, hard facts is the only way you defeat anti-SLAPP motions and demurrers. The truth doesn’t need to shout; it just needs to be documented. Now, surviving this school of life requires a very specific kind of strength—the strength to be humble. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned on this journey is how to pivot. When you realize you have a weak argument on a specific point, you concede it. You don’t fight a losing battle just for ego. And that moment of concession? It is a moment of pure gratitude for the humility you’ve mastered over the years. Real power doesn’t come from pretending you’re infallible. It comes from agility, self-correction, and unwavering clarity. Because here is the core truth beneath all of it: You have the power to do anything you want. Fear is nothing more than a wasted energy. It devours the truth of who you really are. You are a sovereign, divine being. So before you ever even think about accepting defeat, ask yourself the most important question of all: Who are you really? For too long, the world tries to make us small. They teach us to shrink, to settle, to accept the box they built for us. They whisper that luxury, massive success, or a beautiful home in the hills isn’t meant for people like us. Why can’t I have a big house? Why can’t I drive the luxury car? Why can’t I build the multi-concept dream property in Downtown Los Angeles? When you wake up, you realize those limitations were never yours to carry. They were just old programming. My ongoing growth has taught me a profound truth: I am not small. None of us are. We are all waiting for everyone to arise from that deep, generational sleep. To finally align with our higher consciousness—a consciousness that is already experiencing the life of our future right now. To step into that truth, to finally walk together in that shared power—that is the greatest gift I can ever attain for myself, and for all of us. Thank you for tuning in. Until next time, remember who you are. AFTERWORDS Thank you for tuning in to today’s episode. As you walk away from this, I want you to carry one thought with you: Stop letting the world make you small. Whether you’re fighting battles in a courtroom, building your vision from the ground up, or simply shedding old conditioning, remember who you are. You are a sovereign, divine being. Fear is just wasted energy, and your future is already waiting for you to catch up to it. If this resonated with you today, share it with someone who needs to wake up and step into their power. Until next time—keep thinking outside the box, stay grounded in the facts, and never forget that you have the power to create anything you want. Take care, and I’ll see you in the next episode.I This is a public episode. Podcast Episode 1: The Blood, the Soap, and Mama Elen

My Inheritance: The Kingdom of Mama Elen My childhood was defined by the presence of a formidable, meticulous matriarch: my Mama Elen. Looking back, her legacy in my life is a complex blend of “iron-clad” standards, vivid sensory memories, and a history that still carries a sharp emotional weight. My Life Under the Code of Delicadesa I grew up under Mama Elen’s strict code of delicadesa—a refined standard of cleanliness and order that governed her kitchen and, by extension, my entire world. * My Culinary Rigor: I watched her refuse every shortcut. If a recipe for tripe required ten grueling steps to clean it properly, I saw her perform all ten. I learned that excellence has no “easy way.” * The Dinuguan Rule: I can still see her “eagle eye” watching as the pig’s blood was caught for Dinuguan. She insisted it be caught directly, ensuring not a single drop ever touched the ground. * My Boundaries: She taught me the importance of personal space. She was fiercely protective of her belongings and never borrowed or lent clothes; she couldn’t bear the thought of the “smell” or stains of others on her things. * The Scent of Her Authority: To me, authority smells like Heno de Pravia soap. Even after we moved to the U.S., she special-ordered it from Spain to maintain that crisp, unmistakable fragrance. The Secrets of Our Kitchen For me, the kitchen was a place of “heat and magic,” where she whispered secrets that only I was meant to hear. While I initially saw the work as a “grueling duty,” I realize now she was passing down a kingdom to me. My Complex Legacy: The Scars and the Love My relationship with Mama Elen was marked by both deep love and the “sharpness” of her era. I still carry a physical mark on my shin—a scar from a needle she once threw that hit the bone. She was a woman of discipline, yet despite the physical “stings,” I was always her “baby boy.” I was her chosen successor, the one she trusted with her greatest talent. Today, I view that past pain as part of the “patience” required for great cooking. I don’t feel the need for apologies. She gave me her greatest love through her craft, and that is what I carry forward. This is a public episode.
