A View to... The Spy Who Loved Me

It's spy vs. spy, as Mrs. Ringo Starr and Roger Moore face off and fall...in love? The Soviet Union sends their best operative to outwit 007. Featuring the pyramids at their finest, plenty of underwater hi-jinks, and of course the introduction of henchmen extraordinaire, JAWS! Join us in Stromberg's submersible as we decide who wins this battle of wits.

A View to... The Man with the Golden Gun

A remote island in Thailand, a racist sheriff deputy on vacation, and... a dead bond girl who comes back a few movies later? Join us as we dissect and discuss Christopher Lee's lethal villain and his diminutive sidekick as they take on Bond and the Beauty with almost half a brain cell!

A View to... Live and Let Die

What is it like being universally adored? You'll have to ask Live and Let Die, since we all go gaga for Roger Moore's first Bond turn. We talk Moore's elegance, Jane Seymour's ethereal beauty, and how well the supernatural works in this heretofore grounded world. Join us in Kananga's San Monique tunnels as we love up Live and Let Die!

A View to... Diamonds Are Forever

Is Connery's return to Bond "a wet fart of a movie," or an increasingly fun Vegas victory romp? Our three daring hosts might disagree about the quality of this diamond. Or at least Christian and Cat do, while Taylor desperately tries to keep the peace. Grab your rats and take a walk through Willard Whyte's penthouse as we assess the value of Diamonds Are Forever!

A View to... On Her Majesty's Secret Service

To quote dear Christian, this is two movies smooshed together: one mediocre, and one terrible. Lands alive, we hated this movie. Does Lazenby deserve all the direct shots he gets from the three of us? Absolutely. Did Diana Rigg deserve much better than this movie? Again, ABSOLUTELY. Join us in the snowy, mind-controlling depths of Piz Gloria as we eviscerate On Her Majesty's Secret Service!

A View to...You Only Live Twice

What connects Roald Dahl, the Rock, and Nancy Sinatra? Why, You Only Live Twice, of course! It's time for a delicate balance: talking about perhaps the most racist Bond scenes, while acknowledging this could be a love letter to Japan (and is definitely better than Thunderball, sorry Christian). Join us in Blofeld's space station volcano as we summit the rocky terrain of You Only Live Twice!

A View to ... Thunderball

Get ready to dive in the depths of Bond's aquatic adventures. Tensions run high as Christian desperately defends himself against Taylor and Cat's take on Thunderball's tastiness. Is the film a Nassau-set masterpiece, or an unwatchable underwater "snooze fest?" Brave the sharks and join us in Largo's villa by the sea in Thunderball!

A View To... Goldfinger

We're following up last week's discord with a full-hearted agreement: Goldfinger RULES. Who knows if it's the best Bond movie ever, but it's definitely the best so far. Granted, we're three films deep, but this might be a keeper. Tune in for Cat lusting over gray-suited Connery, stay for Christian finally describing his bonkers movie watching set-up. Join us in Goldfinger's gassed-up Kentucky home as we rejoice in Goldfinger!

A View to... From Russia With Love

Buckle up for the first major argument of the podcast. Namely, whether From Russia With Love is a shining star in the Bond multiverse, or a sucking black hole. Listen to our spicy takes on Bond's second outing. Thrill as Christian fanboys over peak nemesis Grant. Gasp as Cat compares someone to a burnished penny. Cheer as Taylor finds what may be the first queer representation in Bond. Join us at SPECTRE's assassin training island as we mitigate From Russia With Love.

A View to... Dr. No

So it begins. We enter the world of James Bond with 1962's Dr. No. Does Sean Connery's Bond knock it out of the park from the start? Are there hard hitting one liners (spoiler: no, but the single memorable one is a doozy)? How do we rank Ursula Andress as Honey Rider, and would it be better if she actually got to talk at dinner? Is the IMDB Parental Guide an appropriate measure of what to expect in this singular film? Aren't rocks awesome? Join us in our virtual Crab Key lair as we explore Dr. No.
