He Lost His Business to Serve as a Missionary For The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Andreas Jakobsen fought for his testimony after graduating high school. As one of the few members in his area in Denmark, he had to work to find his faith. He still didn't feel ready to serve a mission, so he built an extremely successful social media marketing company that served very well known YouTube channels. Nearing the peak of his success, he finally received an answer about whether or not he should serve a mission. Andreas talks about the Law of Sacrifice, and how he has learned so much more about Jesus Christ. If you are a returned missionary from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this podcast is for you! We've noticed a need for returned missionary support, so we created this space as a place to gather, connect, support, and "remember, remember" the critical spiritual strength we learn from our missions.INSTAGRAM: www.instagram.com/authenticgospel TIKTOK: www.tiktok.com/@the.authenticgospel

He Got the Wrong Mission Call for The Church of Jesus Christ / For Returned Missionaries

Tyler Whittle opened his mission to France- but in the coming weeks, he received a welcome packet from a mission in Germany. He called the Church Office Building and they told him what happened. Mission calls ARE divine. Tyler highlights how his mission call influenced the rest of his life and set the foundation for paths he would take. Serving in a different mission in a different language would have taken him somewhere else in life. Tyler now works in the Missionary Department for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Savannah Wooden had epilepsy and seizures from a young age. She was told she wouldn't be able to drive, graduate high school, and potentially not even have a family of her own. Serving a mission was out of the question. She met a doctor who recommended a surgery that could help her, and miraculously it did. Savannah served a mission in Texas, where she met her (now) husband. If you are a returned missionary from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, this podcast is for you! She Turned Her Biggest Struggle Into Her Superpower as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ

Taylor Giles found a new interest in working out and healthy eating as a high schooler. After accidentally turning to the wrong sources for advice, she found herself struggling more in her health instead of improving. With help from her mom, she learned healthy confidence, and found a love in helping other people discover that confidence for themselves. As a missionary, she saw the need for and developed a program to encourage missionaries to have a good workout, despite the lack of good supplies. She uses this program to help missionaries leaving on their missions to feel confident and strong in the Lord's work.
