Making Friends Is Hard. Getting Iced by a 7-Year-Old Is Harder. | The Go Team Ep. 11

Why is making friends as an adult so freaking hard? This week, The Go Team gets into the awkward world of adult friendships, couple friends, and trying to find people you actually want to hang out with. We've also got an update on the bird, some football talk, and the latest in a prank war that has officially gotten out of hand. Scott gets iced by a 7-year-old, and let's just say... she's winning. And because it's The Go Team, we somehow find our way back to farts and other conversations no one asked for. Four friends. Two couples. Absolutely no filter. Welcome back to The Go Team!

A Jigsaw, a Banana Peel & Several Bad Ideas | The Go Team Ep. 10

This week, The Go Team tackles the important issues: mystery bathroom smells, questionable DIY decisions, husbands starting unnecessary projects at the absolute worst time, and why “can you do this?” apparently means something very different to everyone in a marriage. There’s a banana peel situation that gets way more disgusting than it has any right to, an attempt at cutting butcher block that probably should’ve involved professionals, and the ongoing debate over whether a task needs to happen now… or at some completely undefined point in the future. Basically, it’s marriage, home projects, bad decisions and the kind of conversations that somehow make perfect sense when you’re with your friends. Just another normal week with The Go Team.

Back to School: Missed Buses, Zillow Spirals & Bad Decisions | The Go Team Ep. 9

The kids are back in school, Leah is back in school, and somehow the adults are still the least organized people in the room. This week, Sunday Funday is being recorded on a Tuesday after we already talked for 15 minutes before realizing we weren’t recording. We’re talking first-day bus fails, kindergarten football, Leah going back for her master’s and immediately finding the drinking games, Emily driving through Scott’s front yard, and a Zillow spiral that briefly had us considering moving the Go Team even closer together. Plus, Rob gets left on a school bus as a kid, we plan the future Go Team compound, and prove that every parent can go from “I WILL END YOU” to “Have a blessed day!” in about ten seconds. Back to school is here. Structure has returned. We still thrive in chaos.

Lake Weekend: Fossilized Poop, Porn on the Jet Ski & Bad Decisions | The Go Team Ep. 8

The Go Team takes the podcast to the lake, and somehow things get even more unhinged. 😂 A suspiciously quiet group of kids leads to a fossilized poop discovery in a Paw Patrol truck, Leah accidentally blasts her smut audiobook over the jet ski speakers, and Scott nearly takes himself out on a slippery dock. Then the moms hit the tube with drinks tucked into their life jackets, we revisit the mysterious life of Mr. Squiggles and hold space for the fish currently buried in Emily and Rob’s backyard. And because apparently two dogs per family isn’t enough, we wrap things up with a very serious debate involving birds, Betty the bulldog, questionable deposits and — naturally — a potential three-acre Go Team compound.Just another relaxing weekend at the lake. Follow, like and subscribe — because apparently enough engagement means we start acquiring animals.

This Sh*t Ain’t Even Peppa Pig 💀 | Lake Winnie | The Go Team Ep. 7

We took the kids to Lake Winnie — and before we even walked through the gates, there was one important disclaimer: This is not Disney. This is not LEGOLAND.This shit ain’t even Peppa Pig. And somehow, that was only the beginning. This week, we relive a family trip to the amusement park of our childhood that included rides older than all of us, a hot dog that looked suspiciously like a human finger, a “Wacky Factory” that was WAY more Friday the 13th than family fun, a weather delay, and a lazy river none of us may ever emotionally recover from. Naturally, that sends us down memory lane with childhood water-park stories, questionable parenting decisions from the ’90s, and the realization that becoming parents has somehow made us both more responsible…and significantly more horrified by everything our parents let us do. Plus, the kids are doing what they do best: interrupting the podcast and making questionable decisions of their own. It’s Sunday Funday with The Go Team. Grab a drink and join the chaos.

The Things Our Parents Never Knew | Summer Chaos, AIM Names & a Surprise Trip | The Go Team Ep. 6

This week, we’re officially over summer, questioning how our kids can consume that many popsicles and admitting that our nannies have more patience and creativity than we do. From aquarium adventures and homemade Chick-fil-A cow costumes, the conversation quickly spirals into the teachers we’ll never forget and the absolutely unhinged things we got away with growing up. We’re talking hidden Smirnoff Ice bottles discovered years later, a teenage drinking disaster that ended in the ER, accidentally setting an entire backyard on fire, ridiculous AIM screen names and how MySpace helped bring Emily and Rob together. Then the guys drop a surprise Auburn–Tennessee trip on Emily—live during the podcast—and learn that free tickets do not necessarily mean a free pass. Welcome back to the chaos. Subscribe and follow The Go Team for more relatable family stories, questionable decisions and the kind of conversations that probably should not be recorded. #TheGoTeam #ParentingHumor #MarriageHumor #MillennialNostalgia #Podcast

Beach Trips, Go Team Kids & Pure Summer Chaos 😂 | The Go Team Ep. 5

This week is exactly what you'd expect after two families spend two weeks apart... complete chaos. First, a quick apology for the audio! Between four adults, excited kids, and a microphone that clearly decided it was on vacation too, this was the best we could clean it up. Thanks for hanging in there with us—we promise it's worth it. In this episode, we're catching up on beach vacations, debating the best kinds of family trips, sharing stories from the Bahamas, St. George Island, and Baha Mar, and reminiscing about the vacations that made the biggest memories. Then... the Go Team Kids officially crash the podcast. They share their favorite beach memories, tell us what they missed most about each other, debate "Would You Rather" questions, talk about mermaids, pizza restaurants, spaceships, and somehow remind us all that the best part of summer isn't where you go—it's who you're with. Expect laughs, interruptions, questionable parenting, and more kid commentary than anyone asked for... just another Sunday with The Go Team. Thanks for listening—and thanks for giving us a little grace on the audio. ❤️
