    Inside The Race - Ep.13 - Stage 7 ot the MyWhoosh Championship review & more

    Episode 13 of Inside The Race – The MyWhoosh Racing Podcast brings our MyWhoosh Championships post stage podcasts to an end for the race as we take the last stand for stage 7. There was no standing around on stage 7 from any of our riders and as the race fields made their way around the Arabia course on MyWhoosh as we saw plenty of riders and teams make the most of the parcours. With more classifications than expected by many still in contention, we saw the racing quite literally come down to the last watt from riders  including what is potentially the smallest ever winning margin in the MyWhoosh Championships. We round up all the men’s & women’s categories as we have them post stage before we bring you the post Championship review show in a short while. We are joined by category 1 superstars Gabi Guerra and Oli Jones after they finished their race on the final stage and get their thoughts on before and during the race, their feelings on their results and find out what would be Gabi’s perfect day if she had her chance post-race and just why Oli was frustrated at not getting his steps in last week end – catch them all on the show.     Inside The Race - Ep12 - Stage 6 of the MyWhoosh Championships review & more

    Episode 12 of Inside The Race – The MyWhoosh Racing Podcast is the first after the rest day and the last to include a stage preview………… confused? Don’t be as we cover what’s happened, what’s to come and chat with 2 great guests! Stage 6 was the race of truth – the Time Trial stage titled “Every second counts” and we saw not just seconds but minutes gained and lost by riders across the categories in both the women’s and men’s races. Some categories saw changes in GC, others saw the climbing or sprint competition decided but in every category we round up what’s done and dusted and what is left to play for on the last day of competition. We have relative newcomer and emerging star of cycling esports, Cat 1 competitor Stephanie Meder who talks us through what she has got right…..and wrong, in her first MyWhoosh Championships! Our men’s Cat 1 guest is none other than Josh Harris, a man who has seen so much of the development of the discipline and is back once again racing the MyWhoosh Championships, hear his reflects on his current motivation to race and so much more.     Episode 11 of Inside The Race – The MyWhoosh Racing Podcast arrives a little later after stage 5 the 2026 MyWhoosh Championship stage race due to UCI duties on the mic for both Matt and Emma last night. On a stage titled “The mountain judges” all eyes were on the climbing specialists and the GC contenders as we headed to Columbia to take on courses that included the only 2 HC climbs of the race. The  riders did not disappoint with every category seeing those who could use the ascents to put the rest of the race fields in the dock before heading into the rest day. We are joined by both our amazing World Champions as Hayley gets the lowdown on the race from Kate McCarthy at midnight in New Zealand and all hear Jason Osbourne’s take on the racing from Spain earlier in the evening yet later in the show – yep that’s not a typo just the reality of a race that spans the globe! In the last part of the show Matt has a bone to pick with Hayley before they and Emma look forward to Monday’s stage 6 of the MyWhoosh Championships is in Montreal for the much anticipated Time Trial stage.     Inside The Race - Ep.10 - Stage 4 of the MyWhoosh Championship review & more

    Episode 10 of Inside The Race – The MyWhoosh Racing Podcast follows stage 4 the 2026 MyWhoosh Championship stage race. We moved to Bhutan for stage 4 – Break the field, the first of 2 big climbing days that come before the rest day and with plenty of tired legs in the race fields we saw many riders looking to conserve energy while a select few sensed the opportunity to race to their strengths. Due to the huge volume of points available to riders in the climbing competition anyone who had ambitions for the KoM or QoM had to show their hand today, the sprinters were looking to see who was able to ascend as well as accelerate and the GC hopefuls now have utilised the terrain to reduce the number of contenders! Hayley has an appointment with the Docter – Dr Francesca Tommasi who has been handing out the medicine the moment the gradient steepens and all the hosts get jealous of the spa like recovery set up of one of the nicest guys in racing Hayden Pucker. In the last part of the show non-climber Matt throws an added dimension into Hayley and Emma’s thoughts on stage 5 where we head to Columbia for the biggest climbing stage of the MyWhoosh Championships!     Inside The Race - Ep.9 - Stage 3 of the MyWhoosh Championship review & more

    Episode 9 of Inside The Race – The MyWhoosh Racing Podcast comes hot on the heels of stage 3 of the 2026 MyWhoosh Championship stage race. Titled “Control the chaos” stage 3 of the MyWhoosh Championship stage race saw both the men and women head to the home of MyWhoosh HQ the U.A.E. Abu Dhabi saw the riders set off on the third day of competition and cross back and forth to Hudayriyat Island where the races eventually finished. On a day where the big climb was stepped we saw big groups descend down from the heights in large groups but with some key people already missing in the women’s race but the men’s races only broke up nearer to the finish – catch up with the major changes! We go behind the bars with stage 1 winner Elyse Gallegos who gets an apology from Matt and we find out how Lionel Vujasin got on returning to the place where he broke his arm prior to the last World Championship…...     Inside The Race - Ep.8 - Stage 2 of the MyWhoosh Championship review & more

    Episode 8 of Inside The Race – The MyWhoosh Racing Podcast is the second of the post stage shows for the 2026 MyWhoosh Championship stage race. Stage 2 of the MyWhoosh Championship stage race saw both the men and women take on exactly the same course with what turned out to be 12 different races unfolding over the roads of California. With the first of the big ascents, the Cat 1 Country Climb, offering three times as many points for the win compared to any of the previous climbs. Would it provoke the GC favourites out or would the climbers take advantage for GC? – we highlight the big movers and shakers on the day! We go behind the bars with climbing specialist Kristen Kulchinsky who joins Hayley in her love of the Endurance climb and with Ruben Dhont who weighs up a top 3 GC or a Sprints win overall. We then get Hayley’s take on stage 3 when we head to the home of MyWhoosh in the Abu Dhabi and get her advice for the men on a climb they have never raced on!
