    Luke 19:1-27 | LUKE | Doug Kempton

How well do you really know God? In Luke 19, Jesus' encounter with Zacchaeus and His parable about a returning king reveal something surprising: we can believe the right things about God and still struggle to trust Him when life doesn't go the way we expect. Pastor Doug Kempton explores how knowing Jesus more deeply changes the way we respond to difficult circumstances, treat other people, and live out our faith.

    Luke 18:15-30 | LUKE | Doug Kempton

We've often heard the story of the Rich Young Ruler end with a man who refuses Jesus and walks away, but that's not actually what the text tells us. Pastor Doug Kempton takes another look at this familiar story and explores what it teaches us about sacrifice, sadness, the things we cling to, and an invitation from Jesus that is always offering us more.

    Luke 18:9-14 | LUKE | Matt Mancinelli

Most of us want to believe we're good people. And one of the easiest ways to convince ourselves is to find someone we think we're better than. In Luke 18, Jesus tells a surprising story about two men looking for acceptance from God. Matt Mancinelli explores why the person who seemed to have everything right was actually the one who missed the point.

    Luke 17:20-37 | LUKE | Wayne Stapleton

What does it actually mean to be ready for Jesus to return? Wayne Stapleton looks at Jesus' teaching in Luke 17 and argues that readiness isn't about watching for clues or predicting a date. It's about recognizing what God is doing right now—and being willing to join Him in it.

    Luke 16:18 | LUKE | Doug Kempton

One verse can make the Bible's teaching on divorce seem simple. Reading everything Jesus and the New Testament say about it makes the conversation much more complicated. In this message looking at Luke 16:18, Pastor Doug looks at marriage as a “covenant of companionship,” when that covenant can be broken, and what Scripture says about divorce and remarriage.

    Luke 16:1-13 | LUKE | Doug Kempton

Pastor Doug was sitting at a diner when he felt a simple nudge: buy a stranded hiker a plane ticket home. He checked the price—and decided it was too expensive. Later that day, he realized how easily he could spend the same amount on himself. This message from Luke 16 is about the opportunities we notice, the ones we miss, and what generosity looks like when we stop thinking of everything as ours.

Psalm 145 | Summer in the Psalms | Ally Turner

If you believe God is distant, why would you pray? If you believe He's harsh, why would you trust Him? Those questions are at the heart of Ally Turner's message from Psalm 145. Through David's words and the life of Jesus, she looks at what God has actually revealed about Himself.

Psalm 91 | Summer in the Psalms | Doug Kempton + Meg Kempton

Fear has a way of taking over our thoughts before anything has even happened. Through Psalm 91, Pastor Doug and Meg explore what it looks like to turn toward God in those moments—not because we're guaranteed an easy or trouble-free life, but because we're promised we won't face it alone.
