    (18) Prepare for Christ the Judge

Christ is "coming again to judge the living and the dead." That is one of the basic truths believers confess. So important is the final judgment that the Bible devotes almost an entire book to that theme. Revelation reveals the closing chapters of the great drama of human history—the conflict between the offspring of the serpent and the offspring of the woman. In the judgment God will affirm his love to his dear children. But upon those who reject him and have sided with Satan will be judged. The seven bowls of God's wrath are Scriptures most intense portrayal of God's judgment. Whatever we feel about the judgment, it is coming. But we ought to feel something about the judgment. More than that, we ought to respond with godly zeal to the warnings God gives about the judgment. In Revelation, the Lord previews for his church "the things that must soon take place" to encourage them as they endure tribulation (Rev. 1:9).

    24 Daniel

Daniel is now in the government of the Medes and the Persians who conquered the Babylonians in October of 539 B.C. Daniel who had been in the Babylonian government of Nebuchadnezzar remained in the government in a leadership role when Darius the Mede assumed control in 539 B.C. Daniel who realized that the prophet Jeremiah had been the last prophet in the area of Judea under king Zedekiah warned him of the impending Godly judgment if Zedekiah did not follow His warnings. In his book Jeremiah received the prophecy from God as too how long the Babylonians would control Jerusalem (In Jeremiah 25:11-12 and Jeremiah 29:10). Knowing that the ruin of Jerusalem (desolations) would have a termination date, Daniel begins praying for the future of Jerusalem and the nation Israel.

    Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!

This sermon concludes a series on the book of Revelation by examining the final instructions and promises found in chapter 22. The central message emphasizes that the proper response to Scripture is worship directed solely to God, illustrated by the angel's rejection of John's misplaced reverence and contrasted with Jesus' acceptance of worship as the divine Son. The preacher urges believers to live with readiness, recognizing that the time is near and that salvation is found only through faith in the finished work of Christ, which washes the believer's robes in the blood of the Lamb. Additionally, the text highlights the dual invitation for the church to pray for Christ's return and to extend the gospel to the thirsty, while warning against altering the prophetic word. The sermon closes with an exhortation to wait with longing for the soon return of Jesus, finding ultimate comfort and hope in His grace.

    Behold Your God! Isaiah 40

This sermon explores Isaiah 40 written about 700 years before Christ. The central theme is the imminent arrival of the Lord, identified as the divine King and Christ, whose coming will reveal His glory to all flesh. The text contrasts the transient nature of humanity, described as withering grass, with the eternal stability of God's Word, which stands forever. The preacher highlights the paradox of God's immense cosmic power, who measures the heavens and weighs the mountains, with His tender intimacy as a shepherd who gathers and carries His lambs. Ultimately, the sermon calls for bold proclamation of this good news, affirming that God's redemptive work is accomplished in Jesus's work and His people are His secure inheritance. Unfortunately, the camera failed before the end of the message so this is just a portion of the message.

    Confidence in a Confused World

The sermon emphasizes the necessity for the church to maintain spiritual vigilance and purity, particularly in the aftermath of a revival experience. Drawing primarily from Ephesians 5, the message argues that God values the holiness of the bride of Christ over her fruit, urging believers to remain without spot or blemish. The text uses the narrative of Achan and Joshua to illustrate how individual sin and a lack of prayer can jeopardize the entire congregation, while also warning against false teachers who cause division and serve their own interests. By citing examples of apostasy and false prophecy, the speaker encourages the congregation to rely on the Holy Spirit for discernment and to continue seeking God's face through prayer to sustain the work of the Spirit.
