    Remember Him

Remember Him The message centers on God's call to remember His works and His ways so that we may know and trust His righteousness. Using Balaam and Balak in Numbers alongside Micah 6, it shows that although Balak hired Balaam to curse Israel, God would not allow His people to be cursed and instead turned the intended curse into a blessing. The account reminds believers that no enemy can overturn what God has established, yet it also warns that God's people can bring trouble upon themselves through unbelief and compromise. Balaam becomes a sobering example of the difference between being used by God and actually belonging to God. Though God spoke through him, Balaam remained a soothsayer whose heart was governed by self-interest and reward. His counsel eventually encouraged Israel to mingle with Moab and compromise from within. The warning is clear: what open opposition cannot accomplish, subtle compromise often can. God's way cannot be adjusted, improved, or mixed with the world's way without consequence. The message also connects remembering with waiting, loving, believing, and obeying God. Isaiah 64 describes those who wait upon the Lord and remember Him in His ways, while 1 Corinthians 2 shows that those who love Him are given spiritual understanding by the Spirit. Genuine faith does not merely agree with God intellectually; it produces action, as illustrated by Joshua, Caleb, Abraham, and Phinehas. When we truly believe God, our choices begin to reflect that belief. Numbers 27 (Numbers 36) then brings the message to the family and the inheritance. The inheritance belonged to those who were part of the family, pointing to the greater truth that we must be born agai

Earlier today Jim went into a search engine and asked the question, "What is the Deep State?" The response directed him to Wikipedia which stated, "The term deep state refers to an unauthorized, hidden network of power that operates within a government independently of its elected leaders to pursue its own goals." It went on to say as to its core, "It describes unelected state officials, bureaucrats, or military and intelligence personnel who supposedly influence or control government policy behind the scenes. In yet another place it refers to the deep state as being a political conspiracy theory that "posits the existence of a deep state within the US federal government, primarily composed of members of the FBI and CIA. Proponents argue that a clandestine network of conspirators within the leadership of the financial and industrial sectors exercise power alongside or within the elected government."
