    Revelation 1:9-20 - Audio

Let's get connected! Simply text "CONNECT" to 618-538-1948. Why study the Book of Revelation? There are several reasons: 1) Satan hates it; 2) it applies to our day; 3) God will bless the study of it; 4) we need to hear it; 5) we are commanded to preach the “whole council” of the Word, which includes the Book of Revelation. Some people believe that we are not supposed to read or study this book. They declare that it cannot be understood. Well, it's the Holy Spirit's job, not man's, to ensure the Word is understood. The title of the book is found in verse 1: THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST. It is given to reveal unto us the purposes, the Person and the plans of the Lord Jesus. Instead of these things being hidden as some say, even the name Revelation means, "an unveiling." With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can learn and understand this book. How do you get there? What is it like? Well, we don’t know all the answers, but we know that Heaven is always referred to as “up.” We know there’s no stairway leading there. We can only imagine some of the answers We should take some time and just imagine, but the Bible tells us quite a bit about Heaven... The Millennial Reign of Christ - Audio

Let's get connected! Simply text "CONNECT" to 618-538-1948. This is message 12 of 18 sermons on Eschatology - a study of what Scripture teaches about the end times. Revelation 20 mentions a 1000 year period of time 6 times in verse 2-7. This period of time has come to be known as the Millennium. The millennium is that 1,000 year period of time when the Lord Jesus Christ Himself will rule upon this earth. He will usher in a time of peace, prosperity and righteousness such as the world has not witnessed since before man sinned in the Garden of Eden. Since there is so much said in the Bible concerning the Millennium, there is no possible way the I could cover all the details in one message. Therefore, I just want to skim the surface this morning and look at a few specific areas of this great period of time that will give us a little insight into what will take place during that glorious time.
