Starting with the good: they are having a conversation. This is a group of people that undoubtedly love film, however, the phrase "inflated sense of self importance" quickly comes to mind. The podcasters devote a large amount of time to snubbing their collective noses at the mainstream film audience (and sometimes to an even greater degree, the filmmakers themselves), yet most of the critiques go unsubstantiated. Something vaguely resembling a point will be made, only to be quickly followed by "but I'm sure we'll get to that later", which never comes. Of the 1+ hour length of each episode, perhaps 2-4 minutes of quality content can be derived. The atmosphere created can easily be equated to the excruciatingly boring ramblings of cocktail party guest who fancies himself an expert on any given subject, yet actually knows very little beyond a single viewing of the film and a quick peak a the wikipedia page. Worse yet, there seems to a near complete lack of opinion. Vague, non-points about the respective films are only broken up by brief, sporadic readings from the IMDB "interesting facts" page, shot out at random into the barren wasteland that is the unfilm podcast.
