Stefan Kaegi - ON BINOCULARS AND REMOTE CONTROLLED SPECTATORS (O DALJNOGLEDIH IN DALJINSKO VODENIH GLEDALCIH),

Stefan Kaegi is an established international multidisciplinary artist. He stages living ready-mades or transplants experts onto the stage and into the grey zone between reality and fiction, using documentary material and theatrical interventions. Stefan Kaegi will show and comment short videos on recent productions of the Rimini Protocoll including Egyptian muezzins, Swiss airport-kids as well as 200 avatars remote controlled by a Canadian audience.
Stefan Kaegi (Swiss) is a theatre director who focuses on the question of drama in everyday life. His works reflect documentary theatre, radio shows and works in urban places of diverse collective participation. The basis of his work is his research method combined with auditions and a conceptual process. His work stems from his desire to make the invisible voices be heard and identified as the voices of professionals. He is part of the Rimini Protokoll artistic group. He lives in Berlin, where Rimini Protokoll members are artists in residency at HAU.

    Stefan Kaegi - ON BINOCULARS AND REMOTE CONTROLLED SPECTATORS (O DALJNOGLEDIH IN DALJINSKO VODENIH GLEDALCIH)

    Stefan Kaegi, mednarodno uveljavljen interdisciplinarni umetnik v svojem delu uprizarja žive ready-made ali pa strokovnjake premesti na oder in v sivo cono med realnostjo in fikcijo, pri čemer uporablja dokumentarno gradivo in gledališke intervencije. Kaegi bo prikazal in komentiral kratke videe o nedavni produkciji skupine Rimini Protokoll z egiptovskimi mujezini, švicarskimi letališkimi otroki in 200 avatarji, ki jih je daljinsko vodilo kanadsko občinstvo.

    Stefan Kaegi (Švica) je gledališki režiser, ki se ukvarja s teatralnostjo v vsakdanjem življenju. Njegovo delo je odsev dokumentarističnega gledališča, radijske oddaja in dela v urbanih okoljih v raznolikih kolektivnih sodelovanjih. Pri svojem delu uporablja raziskovalno metodo, avdicije in konceptualne procese, ki v želji, da so njihovi glasovi slišani prejmejo statust strokovnjakov. Član je RIMINI PROTOKOLL-a, umetniške ekipe, v kateri poleg njega sodelujeta še Helgard Haug in Daniel Wetzel in ustvarjajo raznolike projekte, s katerimi gostujejo po vsem svetu.

    Živi v Berlinu, kjer so Rimini Protokol na rezidenčnem programu v HAU.
