Fixing the Packers Two BIG Problems: The Offensive Line & Finishing Games | No Huddle Radio #289

No Huddle Radio dives deep into the biggest questions facing the Green Bay Packers after a frustrating season opener—and there’s plenty to discuss. How can the Packers fix an offensive line that allowed Jordan Love to be sacked four times and hit 15 times? And perhaps even more importantly, how does Green Bay finally learn how to finish games? Gil Martin and Sean Tien break down the offensive line disaster, including the communication problems, pass protection breakdowns and potential personnel changes involving Aaron Banks and Anthony Belton. The discussion also examines how the Packers can use quicker passes, RPOs, screens and more multiple-tight-end formations to help protect Love. Then, the focus turns to Green Bay’s troubling habit of blowing double-digit leads. After taking a 22-10 lead against Minnesota before surrendering 29 unanswered points, what has to change? The hosts discuss red-zone struggles, fourth-down decisions, play-calling and the need to control the football when protecting a lead. Plus, get a preview of the Packers-Jets matchup, including Aaron Glenn’s aggressive defense, Geno Smith, Breece Hall, Garrett Wilson, Edgerrin Cooper and more. Packers Wind Down Early: Fourth Quarter, Zero Backbone | Cheesehead Radio #389

Packers Wind Down Early: Fourth Quarter, Zero Backbone | Cheesehead Radio #389 takes on Green Bay’s collapse against the Vikings, Matt LaFleur’s accountability problem and Jordan Love’s disappearing protection. Plus injuries, Jets prep and Hot Pockets. Fourth quarter sold separately. The Green Bay Packers were cruising. Then they performed their signature finishing move: becoming completely unrecognizable when it mattered most. A 22–10 lead turned into a 39–22 loss to Minnesota, and Cheesehead Radio is here to inspect the wreckage—with considerably more resistance than the Packers offered in the fourth quarter. We begin with a checklist of misery: the points taken off the board, the failed fourth-down sneak, the penalties that kept Minnesota alive and the protection breakdowns that left Jordan Love navigating rush-hour traffic without a vehicle. Christian Watson supplied the fireworks, but an offense cannot survive on highlight reels alone. How does so much explosive potential produce so little when a game needs finishing? Then comes the accountability conversation. Matt LaFleur and Brian Gutekunst have contract extensions. Packers fans have questions. Is this a roster problem, a coaching problem or a team that still cannot respond when an opponent punches back? And where does Love fit into the blame equation when his protection fails but the offense desperately needs its franchise quarterback to stop the spiral? Jonathan Gannon’s defense gets its turn under the microscope, too. The penalties deserve scrutiny, but so do the offensive turnovers that repeatedly handed Minnesota short fields. There is plenty of blame available without pretending every failure belongs to the same department. We also sort through the Packers’ injury concerns, roster moves and offensive-line uncertainty before turning toward the New York Jets. Can Green Bay handle another aggressive pressure scheme, establish a dependable running game and contain Breece Hall? More urgently: can the Packers demonstrate that football games actually last four quarters? Finally, the Hot Pockets are served at an appropriately unreasonable temperature. The “young team” grace period is over, the excuses have expired, and championship potential remains a lousy substitute for finishing a game. It’s Cheesehead Radio: Packers analysis, fan frustration and the kind of loving ridicule this franchise keeps insisting on earning.🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your Packers fix. Man I'd Like To Fire | Packers Therapy #503

Week 1 is in the books and the Packers are already in the shop. Chris and Dave open with a two word verdict from the team chaplain and spend the next hour deciding whether this is fixable or just familiar. Dave admits he didn't watch it live and makes a surprisingly strong case for why. Chris breaks down the fourth quarter sequence that flipped US Bank Stadium, including a Matt LaFleur decision that wiped points off the board, a Jordan Love sneak that never had a chance, and a penalty parade the NFL Network was too embarrassed to show. There were bright spots. The defense held up under Jeff Hafley's replacement. Trey Smack went boom from fifty nine. Christian Watson put up a monster line and Keisean Nixon picked a very convenient week to look like a CB1.  Then it's Week 2 betting lines, a hotel casino guest who may need a fake ID, and two guys who came into September together and are now staring at very different seasons. Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/packerstherapyPayPal: Packerstherapy@yahoo.com Posting its first show in 2005, Packers Therapy is the longest-running Packers podcast on the Internet. Hosts Chris and Dave began the show as a way of capturing the spirited chats the two co-workers had about the team around the office. The two have no pretense about being experts: they are just two opinionated shareholders who love the team, follow it closely, but don’t always see the Packers fortunes eye to eye. The guys encourage comments and questions via their Twitter feed @PackersTherapy or email to packerstherapy@yahoo.com and read and respond to as many as they can during each show. Packers Collapse Again — Is It Time for Major Changes? | Packers Weekly #161

Packers Weekly is breaking down a brutal Green Bay Packers loss to the Vikings — and after another collapse that looks eerily familiar, something HAS to change. Myles Teteak and Tim Hamilton dive deep into the biggest problems facing the Packers after Week 1, including an offensive line that simply could not handle Brian Flores and Minnesota’s relentless blitz pressure. Was this just a bad game, or is Green Bay dealing with a much bigger organizational problem? The guys examine the struggles along the offensive line, questionable personnel decisions, coaching accountability, and why the Packers failed to make basic adjustments when the Vikings kept bringing pressure. They also defend Jordan Love, who played an impressive game despite getting battered, and highlight the encouraging performance and attitude of the new-look Packers defense. Plus, can Green Bay fix these issues before facing Aaron Glenn and the New York Jets? With another aggressive defense waiting, the Packers better have answers — and fast. Packers Collapse AGAIN: Same Old Song & Dance vs. Vikings l Lemps Talkin' Pack #257

Lemps Talkin’ Pack dives headfirst into a brutal Sunday for the Green Bay Packers after a stunning 39-22 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers looked firmly in control for much of the game, only to watch everything unravel in a fourth-quarter collapse that raised some very familiar—and very uncomfortable—questions. Chris Lempicis breaks down why this loss feels like far more than a simple Week 1 stumble. The Packers were outscored 22-0 in the fourth quarter and 29-3 over the final two quarters, continuing a troubling pattern of late-game collapses dating back to last season. How much blame belongs on Matt LaFleur? Was this another example of the Packers failing to close when they had the game in their hands? The controversial officiating also gets plenty of attention, including a series of penalties that kept a crucial Vikings drive alive. But despite the frustration with the referees, Chris explains why the officiating ultimately isn't the reason Green Bay lost. Jordan Love, Keyshawn Nixon, the Packers' inability to finish games, and the decision to bring LaFleur back all come under the microscope in this emotional postgame breakdown. Packers Week 1 CRISIS? Josh Jacobs, O-Line Injuries & Vikings Preview | No Huddle Radio #288

No Huddle Radio is back with the Green Bay Packers just days away from kicking off the regular season, and there is plenty to discuss before Sunday’s showdown with the Minnesota Vikings. Josh Jacobs has officially pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges, bringing the legal situation to a significant turning point — but now the pressure shifts to the NFL as everyone waits to learn what suspension, if any, Jacobs will face. Gil Martin and Sean Tien break down what Jacobs’ absence could mean for the Packers’ offense, including the potential workload for Marshawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks. The biggest concern, however, may be the offensive line. With Aaron Banks, Zach Tom/Bacabule and Jordan Morgan dealing with injuries, can Green Bay protect Jordan Love against Brian Flores’ aggressive blitz-heavy Vikings defense? The discussion also dives into the Packers’ defensive game plan for Kyler Murray, the Jonathan Gannon-Kyler familiarity, and the enormous challenge of slowing down Justin Jefferson. Plus, the guys identify the keys to victory, make their Packers-Vikings predictions, discuss Tucker Kraft’s potential contract extension, and finish with some Packers-Vikings trivia. Packers vs. Vikings: Love, Hate & No Excuses | Cheesehead Radio #389

Cheese Head Radio previews the Green Bay Packers vs. Minnesota Vikings Week 1 matchup as Jordan Love and the Packers finally open the 2026 NFL season in Minneapolis. Green Bay Packers injuries, Brian Flores’ Vikings defense, Kyler Murray, Justin Jefferson, Jordan Love, and the Packers’ biggest season predictions all take center stage as CD Angeli, Kelly Hodgson, and Jersey Al prepare for Sunday. The Packers arrive with considerably fewer bullets in the chamber than they would prefer. Josh Jacobs is unavailable, Micah Parsons remains out, and three projected starting offensive linemen appeared on Wednesday’s injury report just before Love gets introduced to Brian Flores’ weekly collection of blitzes, disguises and general quarterback harassment. Meanwhile, rookie Brandon Cisse gets his first real NFL examination against a Minnesota receiving corps led by Justin Jefferson, while Jonathan Gannon has one intriguing advantage against new Vikings quarterback Kyler Murray: he spent three years coaching him in Arizona. Then CHR starts making receipts. How many games will Green Bay win? Who leads the Packers in rushing and receiving? Can the defense actually crack the top 10? Who becomes the surprise player of 2026? And, most importantly, is anything less than multiple playoff victories now a disappointment? Kelly puts an alarming amount of faith in Tucker Kraft. Al predicts a near-Pro Bowl rookie season for Cisse. CD predicts Jordan Love’s 2011-Aaron-Rodgers-style arrival and somehow talks himself into Lukas Van Ness becoming a breakout player. Nothing could possibly go wrong. Finally, the Hot Pockets arrive: hope springs eternal, Wednesday Night Football gets ordered off Kelly’s lawn, and CD explains why he loves to hate the Bears but simply hates the Vikings. All three hosts pick Green Bay. Now somebody please silence that horn.🎧 Listen on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your Packers fix.
