Each episode is a self-contained story that can cover such diverse themes and genres as suspense, thriller, sci-fi, crime, mystery, supernatural, surreal and the macabre and might also have a twist ending. Episodes are half-hour stories and each one is introduced and bookended by the eponymous Collector (played by James Bartholomew) - a man who hoards the artefacts that reflect the stories told in the series.
