    Solo TV time and the gumball machine that got away

    Judge Bex gets caught listening to a rival science podcast, Connor claims to make up 75% of the Dream Team, and there are two brand new cases for the court. Nine-year-old Henry takes his mum to court because he isn’t allowed to watch TV on his own. If a parent leaves the sofa, even to go to the loo, the programme gets paused until they’re back. Henry thinks that’s unfair, and he’s even offering a compromise: TV on his own at weekends, and with someone else on weekdays. But Mum says Henry has left out some vital evidence. While she and Dad were having a weekend lie-in, he was caught watching Border Force… And Henry has a complaint of his own: Mum sings along to films far too much. Can Henry win back his solo telly time, or is it the pause button forever? Then Samuel takes his mum to court over a gumball machine. He spotted one in a shop after seeing one on Ryan’s World, and he’s brought his own colourful drawing of it as evidence. Mum said no. When he went back months later with his grandma and grandpa, somebody else had bought it, and now the shop has closed down too. But Mum has some evidence of her own. That same day Samuel had already been to see Horrible Histories, picked out some fun bath treats including a Minecraft TNT one, and gone out for sushi… More than a year later, does Samuel deserve his dream gumball machine?     The Pokémon present and the TV remote hog

    Judge Bex keeps knocking out Connor’s Pikachu, Connor has emailed the judge asking for a court date against his own co-host, and there are two brand new cases for the court. Jamie is calling in from Scotland to take his mum to court. While they were in Sports Direct buying school shoes, he spotted a £45 Pokémon game and wanted to buy it for his little brother with his own birthday money, so the two of them can battle together. Mum said no: it’s a big purchase, and Switch games are for birthdays and Christmas, not a random Tuesday. But Jamie has brought some evidence of his own… a pair of £200 sunglasses. Will Judge Bex let him spend his own money? Then Coralee takes her little sister Aurelia to court over the TV. Every night after school it’s Bluey or The Worst Witch, and Coralee only gets to watch her favourite show, Sam & Cat, about once a month.     The yogurt monster and all-day Roblox

    Judge Bex has to take notes for the first time ever, scribbled on the back of a Greggs bag, Connor goes missing and turns up somewhere very unexpected, and there are two brand new cases for the court. Duncan and Edie are calling in all the way from New Hampshire in America to take their dad to court. They say he’s a yogurt monster who sneaks downstairs in the middle of the night, fills a big bowl with yogurt and eats it in bed, so there’s none left for breakfast. But Dad has come prepared with a whole list of points. He says he hasn’t had enough time to get his case ready, that the alleged yogurt crimes happened in Lewisham so this court has no jurisdiction, and that nobody can prove it was even yogurt. And if he wins, he wants his bus fare and a coffee a day paid for out of their pocket money… Can the yogurt monster talk his way out of this one? Then Georgia takes her dad to court over screen time. She loves playing Roblox with her friends for a few hours a day, and if it were up to her she’d play all day. Dad wants everyone out in the garden, down the park and taking the dog for walks instead. But when Judge Bex asks whether Dad is on his phone much, Georgia’s answer is a very definite yes… for work, apparently. Lauren and Connor can’t agree on this one either.     The pet snake and a summer of homework

    Judge Bex has rescued a duck called Darcy who can’t swim, Connor makes it very clear how he feels about snakes, and there are two brand new cases for the court. Harris is taking his mum to court because she won’t let him have a pet snake. He’s learnt about snakes at Cubs, he’s picked out a corn snake, and he’s even worked out where a 65-centimetre tank would fit in his room. Mum isn’t a snake person, she thinks he should wait until he’s old enough to look after one on his own, and she’s only just found out what corn snakes eat… So does Harris get his snake? Then nine-year-old Frankie from London takes his mum Caroline to court. Frankie missed some school, so over the summer holidays Mum printed out a pile of extra maths, English and writing for him to catch up on. Frankie says the summer holidays are not for homework, and for once Lauren and Connor agree with each other.     Silly nicknames and the comfiest seat in the house

    Judge Bex is halfway through watching Coco with the telly on very loud, Connor has some worrying questions about turnips, and there are two brand new cases for the court. Zosha is nearly eight, and she feels so strongly about her case that she’s calling in from her holiday in Turkey. She’s taking Uncle Ben to court because he keeps calling her “Babies”. Uncle Ben says it’s a term of endearment, that she’ll always be a baby to him even when she’s a hundred, and that Zosha is very happy to hand out nicknames when it suits her. Zosha’s answer? She just ignores him. Can Judge Bex find a nickname everyone can live with? Then 13-year-old Nyla takes her sister Leah to court over the comfiest seat in the house: the corner of the sofa with the recliner. Nyla has a swollen, painful foot and needs to put it up. Leah is studying for exams and says she deserves somewhere comfy to relax. Nyla says Leah has been using exams as an excuse for about four years… Lauren says first come, first served.     Harry Potter films and the pyjama drawer mix-up

    Judge Bex has paint in her wig, Connor has a Harry Potter quiz question nobody can answer, and there are two brand new cases for the court. Ruby takes Mum to court over Harry Potter. Mum’s rule is that each book gets read before its film gets watched. They read the first three together, but now it’s time for book four, all Ruby’s friends have already seen the fourth film, and she’d much rather be reading A Series of Unfortunate Events and Narnia along with her class. Mum went to the midnight book launches as a kid and says the books are packed with Easter eggs you only spot if you read them. Can anyone find a way to keep them both happy? Then Faye takes Mum to court for putting her clothes in the wrong drawers. Pyjama tops end up with her everyday clothes, and one pair of pyjamas went missing for three whole weeks. Mum works full time, has two children to ferry about, a dog to walk and all the ironing to do, and her answer is simple: if Faye doesn’t like the way it’s done, she can do it herself.     Three days of screen time and hacked Robot

    Albi takes his dad to court over screen time, and it turns out the defence has just bought a field. Albi gets screens on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus holidays, and he’s asking for one more day. He isn’t after unlimited Minecraft, just one extra. Dad’s case is that they live in the beautiful Peak District, there are a thousand books in the house and there’s a brand new field to be getting on with. Then Albi points out that Dad is on his phone every single morning reading the news, and Dad admits he’s right… Then Sean from Fun Kids takes Robot to court for losing the Fun Kids Top 100 Disney Songs list. Robot’s brain was hacked, which he insists wasn’t his fault. Sean says it was entirely his fault, because Robot’s password was Robo101. Sean wants five years in prison.     Dinner table phones and the last gingerbread man

    Gwen and April take their dad Paul to court over phones at the dinner table. The girls aren’t allowed their tablets while they eat, but Paul sits down with his personal phone and his work phone and swipes shapes all the way through the meal. He’s on level 7,500. His defence is that he can multitask, though he does admit he can’t quite manage the chatting-to-his-family part. Then Mum is called in as a witness and suddenly it’s three against one… Then Mia takes big sister Beth to court over the last two gingerbread men. Mia says it was her turn to pick and Beth grabbed the biggest one. Beth says that cookie was reserved, hers, and always had been. So how did it end up on the shared plate?
