JACK's look into the great work going on in Oxfordshire with fostering. Fostering is caring for a child in your own home when they are unable to stay with their own families. Foster carers are from all walks of life. Children need foster families for a variety of reasons, this may be due to a crisis in the family or concerns about a child. Many children needing a foster home have suffered from some form of abuse, including neglect. Fostering can be challenging but can also be very rewarding.
