I absolutely love this podcast and along with the History of England podcast they’re honestly the only two that I listen to on a regular basis. Everyone who knows me knows that if we’re in my car, we are either going to be listening to the history of English or the history of England.
I love the way that Kevin gives us not only the history of the words and the etymology and what was going on on a global scale to influence the language but also the pronunciation and the ships and pronunciation and the way that he protects the material is really really well done. I appreciate that he follows to try and true method of telling you what he’s going to tell you, telling you, and then telling you what he told you. It really helps reinforce the material and helped me understand better.
I think if I were to take a class with him, he would probably be my favorite professor. 10/10, 5 stars, no notes
