    The Katherine Massey Book Club @ The C.O.W.S. hosts the 3rd study session on Dr. Colin Anthony Beckles' PanAfrican Sites of Resistance: Black Bookstores and The Struggle To Re-Present Black Identity. This 1995 dissertation is the first time in the illustrious 14 year history of The Katherine Massey Book Club that we will read a non-book. Dr. Beckles conducted an extraordinary amount of research and produced several reports documenting the import of black bookstores and the intense Racism targeting them. Having just completed Char Adams' Black-Owned: The Revolutionary Life of the Black Bookstore, Gus concluded the text willfully excluded Dr. Frances Cress Welsing and Neely Fuller Jr. to stress anti-sexual behavior and to practice black misandry. Reading Dr. Beckles' - who is briefly mentioned in Adams' work, dissertation is the corrective to Black-Owned. Last week, we learned we about the methods Dr. Beckles employed in this study - which sometimes included eavesdropping and video-recording store patrons. Listeners discussed the ethics of snooping on black book buyers. Apparently, one subject of conversation in these stores is the existence of black "sellouts" and "zombies."Dr. Beckles also gave us a comprehensive history of White Supremacy in Britain to provide context for the targeting of black bookstores in this area of the world.     The Context of White Supremacy (C.O.W.S.) Radio Program hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism 03/05/26. On the same week that Colt '45' Gray's White father was convicted for his role in allowing his White child to shoot up a Georgia school, a CBC report indicates a number of White Canadian educators are leaving the profession in response to school violence north of the border. Gus T. was stunned. Since the good ol' US has more school shootings then anyone in the galaxy, he was curious to know if US teachers are also heading for the hills after nearly 3 decades of Columbines with no end in sight. We also discuss a recent shooting at a Wisconsin Taco Bell. Customers allegedly escalated a confrontation that began in the drive through. When patrons attempted to breach the kitchen area of the restaurant, a black male employee, Clarence James, allegedly fired several warning shots in the air to defend himself and his co-workers. No one was harmed, but James was arrested. His concealed carry permit had expired, so this was the only violation he faced. We had previously discussed the 2025 shooting death of Ryan Johnson at an Ohio Taco Bell.     The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly Compensatory Call-In 02/28/26. We encourage non-white listeners to dial in with their codified concepts, new terms, observations, research findings, workplace problems or triumphs, and/or suggestions on how best to Replace White Supremacy With Justice ASAP. This weekly broadcast examines current events from across the globe to learn what's happening in all areas of people activity. We cultivate Counter-Racist Media Literacy by scrutinizing journalists' word choices and using logic to deconstruct what is reported as "news." We’ll use these sessions to hone our use of terms as tools to reveal truth, neutralize Racists/White people. #ANTIBLACKNESS Gus thinks we may have survived one more Black History Month. Despite a few bomb threats in Ohio and mild episodes of Racial Terrorism, February was generally quiet on the plantation in the US. Although, State Senator and pastor Michael Jones's Village of Faith Ministries church in Virginia was racially terrorized. Former Pres. Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton testified before the House Oversight Committee about disgraced Racist Suspect Jeffrey Epstein. Condolences for and memories of the late Jesse Jackson Sr. continue to stream in. White and non-white people around the world continue to cite a myriad of ways that Jackson attempted to counter-racism. The Switzerland-based company Novartis settled a lawsuit with the family of Henrietta Lacks for decades of profiteering from her stolen genetic material. Across the pond in London, privileged black male actors Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were verbally assaulted while presenting an award at the BAFTA Films Awards Ceremony.     Dorothy Roberts Came to Seattle's Elliott Bay Books to Tell Jokes, Show Pics of Her Racist White Relatives, & Lie #WorstBookEver

    On Thursday, February 26th at 7pm PST, author, legal scholar and Victim of White Supremacy Dorothy Roberts came to Seattle's Elliott Bay Books to discuss her new book, The Mixed Marriage Project, which was right on time for Black History Month 2026. As Roberts has been a three time guest on The C.O.W.S., Gus made time to examine this new text, even though there was no reason to expect the same great literature Roberts has previously penned. The latest offering examines her White anthropologist father Robert Roberts and his alleged "project" to study interracial couples for 50 years. Roberts suggests her German "daddy" is a 20th century John Brown without offering a shred of proof - other than his obsession with "interracial sex." An obsession so randy and perverted that his daughter Evelyn burned some of the contents out of fear of humiliation and impugning the family's good name. Roberts' book promotes sexual intercourse with White people,fails to interrogate the Racist behavior of her father because of reasons of "love," pushes personal grievances with black males, and uses Black History Month to hawk a book that will increase non-white people's confusion about what Racism is. Gus attended this event with every intention of asking questions about this fraudulent work. There were many White people and non-white people with 1 White parent in attendance. Not too many black males.     The Context of White Supremacy welcomes Dr. Thairi Moya Sánchez live from Spain. An assistant professor of law at Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain, Dr. Thairi's examines international law and issue of justice. We'll discuss her recently published report, 'Extrajudicial killings in Venezuela: confronting the legacy of racism and poverty through transitional justice.' After this year's stunning (and probably illegal) invasion of the South American nation, Gus wanted to know more about the local System of White Supremacy in this part of the world. Most of the people look too dark to be classified as White, but Dr. Sánchez's work documents that the darkest people here, are generally treated poorly - perhaps targeted for violence.     The C.O.W.S. welcomes Admitted Racist Dr. Kylie Smith live from Australia. Classified as a White Woman, Dr. Smith “is an Associate Professor, tenured, and the Andrew W. Mellon Faculty Fellow for Nursing and the Humanities and Associate Faculty in the Department of History at Emory.” “She teaches courses on the history of race in health care, critical theory, and nursing theory and philosophy.” We’ll discuss her 2026 publication, Jim Crow in the Asylum: Psychiatry and Civil Rights in the American South. This book examines how mental health facilities in so-called southern US states rigidly maintained and refined the System of White Supremacy. Dr. Smith highlights that the foundation of mental health facilities was about the maintenance of White Supremacy - which often means the confinement of black people. She reiterates what Dr. Welsing told us, White people do not think mental health remedies are for black people. We learn that Racists felt the best therapy for dark people was a good beating, and/or a hard day's work like back on the plantation.
