Recap & Deconstruction of the Benny Montgomery Case: Last week, we unlocked the foundational catalyst of armed self-defense in Monroe: the case of Benny Montgomery. Gus T. found it highly notable and odd that Williams brands Montgomery as being simply "shellshocked" from his World War II combat service. Upon a thorough counter-racist investigation of Montgomery's 1946 conviction and subsequent 1947 execution, Gus exposed that this privileged Black veteran was attacked because his Racist boss refused to relinquish his hard-earned wages and struck him directly in the face. Montgomery executed immediate tactical counter-violence by slitting the Racist's throat and liberating his stolen wages.
