    The Huge Show - June 19th - Full Show

    Today we're broadcasting live from the Blythefield Country Club in Plainfield Township as it's the 12th year of the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give. Throughout the show we were joined by some of the great folks connected to the Meijer LPGA to hear about what's new this year, what the meaning is behind the event, and more. We were also joined by some of our great guests to talk about the Tigers, PGA, LPGA, and more. Throughout all three hours, we were joined by Mark Wilson who is a PGA Rules Official, and is an Instructor for the Ferris State Golf Management Program. He and Huge talked all about how the ladies are playing in the Meijer LPGA today, they talked about the US Open and how difficult the course has been for the players, talked about the current state of the LIV Tour, talked about other storylines surrounding the World of Golf, and so much more. In our first hour, we were also joined by Alex Urban from Eat em Up:Detroit Tigers Podcast so we could get an update on the Tigers. We wrapped up the hour talking with Chef Brian Williams from the Meijer Team. He told us about all of the great food you'll be able to get your hands on at the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give this year. In our second hour, we were joined by our Soccer Insider John Conlon so he and Huge could talk about USA being up 2-0 over Australia at the half. We were then joined by Keith Langlois from DetroitPistons.com so he and Huge could talk about the Pistons in the off-season, the NBA Draft, and more. We were then joined by Melissa Conway who is the Director of Community Partnerships & Giving for Meijer. She joined us to talk about raising funds for food baskets, told us how much they've raised since they've started, talked about how you can help, talked about some of the partnerships that Meijer has, and more. In our final hour, we were joined by Mitch Lyons from Mitch Lyons Wealth. He and Huge talked about the current state of the Detroit Tigers, talked about the future of Skubal and what the team still needs, and more. We were then joined by our Soccer Insider John Conlon so he and Huge could talk about USA beating Australia 2-0 in the World Cup. We wrapped up the show talking with Doug Meijer as he and Huge gave a tribute to their great friend Steve Workman who was a big fan of Grand Valley, the game of Golf, the Meijer LPGA Classic, and so much more.
