Matthew McConaughey, Angelina LookingGlass & Andrew Patterson, "The Rivals of Amziah King"

Matthew McConaughey chose this scrappy Oklahoma indie as the film to end a five-year live-action hiatus, and he's here with breakout Angelina LookingGlass and writer-director Andrew Patterson (The Hollywood Reporter). McConaughey plays beekeeper Amziah King and LookingGlass plays Kateri, the former foster daughter who returns to him and discovers what she's capable of, in a neo-Western crime thriller that mashes bluegrass, comedy and revenge (Wikipedia, The Film Stage). Brad digs into the long road from SXSW to theaters and Patterson's leap from The Vast of Night.
