On every episode, housemates Kate (she’s not Josh!) and Josh (he’s not Kate!) talk about cocktails or cocktail components/accompaniments and popular culture. Taken as a whole, “Prefer Not To” offers a crash course on high-brow drinks and their history that even beer-and-cider-guzzlers such as myself can enjoy. They’ve also entertainingly discussed a ton of mainly obscure movies from the 1970s and beyond — some good, some not so good. Go ahead and give this pair a listen already!

I have never been (and still am not) someone who drinks cocktails more than once in a blue moon.
Happily, interest in making or drinking cocktails is not required to enjoy “Prefer Not To.” Co-hosts Kate and Josh provide charming company while making engaging conversation, whether they’re reviewing movies, discussing popular culture or (yes) describing the pedigree and taste of the week’s alcoholic concoction. I give it five thumbs out of five!
