THE ROUND ROBIN EPISODE 🏓 🎠

🏓🤐 EPISODE 9: THE ROUND ROBIN EPISODE 🎠💣 What happens when @mouthpiecesam gives up control of the podcast? Probably exactly what you’d expect. 😂 This week, Cousin Adam aka CHEFBOYAREGOS 👨‍🍳, Swervin Mervin 🕷️ and DAMETIME ⏰ are back in the Baseline Studio. But this time, there’s a twist: EVERYBODY GETS THE CHAIR. 🎙️ Different host. Different questions. Different energy. And everybody gets ONE questionable line call that can instantly send the host packing. OUT! 👉 ROTATE! From there… things get weird. 😂 Pickleball debates. Trash talk. Walk-up music. Questionable opinions. Unexpected moments. A few surprises. And absolutely nobody respecting Mouthpiece Sam’s authority in his own studio. 🤐💀 Oh… and just because somebody couldn't make it to the studio doesn't necessarily mean they won't find a way onto the show. 👀📞 This one is less interview and more four pickleball friends handing each other the microphone and seeing what happens. No script. No fanboys. No idea where this thing is going. Welcome to the Round Robin. 🎠🏓 🏓 STEP BETWEEN THE LINES. 🤐 GRAB YOUR MOUTHPIECE. 💣 WELCOME TO 44X20. 🎧 Watch. Listen. 🔒 LOCKED IN 🔒

EPISODE 7: LOCKED IN 🔒 Decision Making, Focus and Conditioning Getting locked in is one thing. Staying there and finding your way back when you lose it is something completely different. In this episode, @mouthpiecesam gets honest about one of the biggest things holding him back on the pickleball court: focus. To help him better understand his game and what keeps him from staying locked in, Sam turns to three people who know him extremely well: 🏓 Cousin Adam, his partner and the person least afraid to tell him the truth 🏓 JT “The Volley Llama” Nerio, coach, Jedi and master of the mental game 🏓 RJ O’Malley, fierce competitor, 5.0 player and the opponent who helped expose what happens when Sam loses focus The crew breaks down real audio from a match in which Sam and Vuong Vo led eight to two before everything fell apart. They examine the talking, negative self talk, fatigue, wasted movement and the exact moment the momentum changed. They also discuss ADHD, distractions, partner communication, pre serve routines, staying present and why every player needs their own version of a mouthpiece. Locking in does not mean maintaining perfect focus. It means recognizing when you have lost it and learning how to lock back in. 🚨 PICKLEBALL AUNTIE ALERT 🚨

Episode 6: Auntie Alert 🚨🏓 We’ve done the uncs. Now it’s time for the aunties. Susan Duffy and Debbie Rubin, better known around the Scripps Ranch Rec Center as the Banger Sisters, join Sam for an episode filled with friendship, laughter, questionable first impressions and absolutely no commitment to the soft game. 💥 They talk about walking into the rec center for the first time, finding a community that feels like family and why pickleball is basically the Cheers bar without the alcohol. Debbie recalls body bagging Aunt Shelle on the very first point, the Banger Sisters imagine what their friendship would have looked like at 21 and Sam reveals the hilariously embarrassing thing he said after playing with Debbie for the first time. 🙈 Underneath all the laughs is a conversation about kindness, staying young, showing up for your people and what it truly means to be an auntie.
